[Resolved]  Kothari Hyundai Kharadi, Pune / Santro — Running Repair

Dear Sir,
I wish to bring to the notice, that I had visited Kothari Hyundai Service station, Kharadi, Pune on 18th of March 2010 to get my driver side door handle repaired, as it was broken and was causing lot of inconvinence. I had to each time open the left hand side door and then open driver side door from inside. therefore I took myservicecetre where I regularly get my car maintenance done for repairs at around 1530 hrs. At reception I was firstly given a look, " Why has this person come to disturb me ? ", when I explained my problem, she checked with somebody about availibility of the part and asked me to collect the part from the store downstairs, I was astonished! I explained her that I want to get the repair done by your people, then she called someone called Mr.Wester, he had a look at the job to be done and asked me to come the next day. I told him that, this was a minor problem and earlier also , I had got the handle changed within half an hour and I am ready to wait for an hour but, he said sorry he is already overloaded with the jobs and cannot divert a single mechanic for this job to be fixed. Then I talked to senior service advisor Mr.Priyan, he too said that the job cannot be carried out immediately. I then told him, whether I should go to a road side garage for this repairs, he simply shrugged at me! I requested the telephone nos of seniors to him or Mr. kothari himself, but I was denied the same. Sir, I would like to submit that, I got this problem fixed from a local garage as it was causing lot of inconvienience to me and the next day I had to travel to Ahmednagar. Sir, my question is do you profess, that customers should only get the regular service check ups and major problems done by your centre and the minor problem be fixed anywhere, as I feel it is time consuming and profits on such type of jobs are low?
I am sorry to state that, I held kothari hyundai at a very high esteem, but after this incident................

COMMERCIAL HYUNDAI — RUNNING REPAIR

I am facing problems on my vechile SANTRO XING. My vechile no is UK07 X 8557. & Presentely i am 300 kms far from Hyundai service center. Two times I went to Comercial Hyundai Dehradun for resolving te problem on my car. Everytime they told me that your problem is resolved but still the problem is same. The problem some noise is inside of Stearing & another one problem is Diggi is automatically opening in Raugh Road. This is not possible to every week to go to 300 km far. I think this is dangurus to me to drive in hill area with Stearing noise. May be some matter will be serious.

I have had major problems with Kothari Hyundai before. It was unfortunate that I realized these after I had been ripped off for thousands of rupees by these crooks. One significant thing that I have noticed is that they leave at least one major problem unresolved just to make sure that their customers offer them repeat business. If they do not find any problem that then can leave for laters, they will CREATE one to get business which is what I find unethical. Mr Kothari is probably unaware of this model followed in HIS own business, and if he is then GOD save him! After all that I have been through with these robbers, I have been successful in convincing at least 4-5 friends on not buying Hyundai cars from Kothari. There is no problem with Hyundai cars, its just their service that sucks!
Similar experience with Kothari Hyundai .. It was some time back .. a named Narendra Sawant who was the works manager at satara road, Pune .. he has even taken money from me to do some work .. said he will get it done from outside and did not give me any receipt .. he he said that had to do it from outside because it would cost at least 10 times more if done within Kothari Hyundai .. customers like me who do not know much about the technicailities fall in this trap .. who knows how much it will cost in getting repaired .. especially if it is related to engine overhauling .. which is what these take advantage of ..
Oh no, i have given my I10 to kothari hyundai on[protected] morning. General servicing and to fix up two dents on the car (My father hit the parking pillar and while removing it he hit the other :D.

now lets see how is the experience, fingers crossed, hope they do not create any problems in my car :(, its i10 top model asta with sun-roof, ABS and airbags). and I am now worried :(

I will keep you all updated with my experiences as they come.
Please do not visit Kothari hyundai Kharadi pune
they are bunch of crooks trying to lay traps for customers. they will ask you to leave car with them for weeks even for minor problem so that they can change parts
they can only change engine oil and washing
