I tried to purchase a Motorola Xoom tablet online through letsbuy.com on 15th January 2012 for Rs 22999, however the payment gateway had an error and despite entering my credit card details (Citibank Mastercard), I did not get order confirmation. However I got an alert from Citibank that my card had been charged. I called letsbuy.com the very next day and I was told no order had been registered and the amount charged would be reverted to my account. Having been satisfied with the issue, I forgot about the issue. Since I have a busy schedule and frequent travel I did not check my credit card details before payment. In July 2012, I happened to discover that my card was debited 22999 (paid to letsbuy) in 6 EMIs. I sent multiple emails to lets buy.com and tried to call their customer service but there is no answer. Letsbuy.com has since sold out to Flipkart.com. I do not have an order number as no number was generated however I have email alert from citibank and credit card statements to back my claim. This is daylight robbery and there is no way to elicit response from letsbuy. Please help me in this regard. Was this information helpful? |
