Verisign doesnt give certification by just paying money we need to prove the authenticity and only then verisign approves the certification

I too agree with 'statusdelhi' replies above. What's the proof that magicbid.com is not using 'Automatic bidding' in the last seconds? I guess the whole point of the rule - Bid time will be extended by ~10 seconds on every bid is only existing to give the owners the chance of 'Auto Bidding'...Moreover Verisign doesn't talk anything about the code behind the site, but it just says that the site is using data protection policies effectively...

I could feel the frustration in your writings. I am ready to take up the challenge which you said, I am ready to reveal my identity as long as you can prove it to me that you guys don’t have any auto bidding system.
The reason I am agreeing to what "statusdelhi" says is because i actually sat for about 6 to 7 hours without moving from the computer and was monitoring a bidding which was going on for apple I phone. I made a note of all the ID's of people who were bidding. I have about 117 id's of people who were bidding within that 7 hours. But since i was continuously bidding i could easily understand there was something fishy in it. I was actually monitoring the bidding throughout the night till early morning. So there were few customers who were bidding till mid night spending at least 300 bids (Each one costing a minimum of 15 Rs) and all of a sudden they went missing, i thought those customers would have given up, but after 4 hours i see the same ID's bidding again, this time the bidding style is entirely different, they bid for jst 5 minutes, and they leave again and after some time they come back again just to bid once and they leave again.. out of the 115 ID's which i tracked at least 25 of them came back after 4 or 5 hrs and the way in which they were bidding was entirely different and there were few ID's which were bidding just to loose without any strategies loosing a minimum of 500 to 600 bids (each one costing minimum Rs. 15 again) But the only thing which those id's achieved was they made others to bid more and more to be at the top.
In one of your reply you had mentioned that you will not be revealing customer’s information. That is a policy which you guys decided yourself without discussing with your customers. As a customer I would not mind my information to be displayed in your webpage as long as you don’t display my contact information.. You can have a profile page for your members and in my profile page I can have the details about the auctions which I have attended and also the amount of bids which I have placed on each auction. And you guys can keep an option if a customer wishes he can display his contact information as well.. If you guys can get this done had the doubts of people would be cleared.

Pennyauction model byitself is such that only one person wins out of dozens of people who compete to win a product, some of them utilize the buynow option some dont.
Most of the regular users usually first bid on voucher bid packs, and when they win a 500 or 320 voucher bid pack, such amount of bids is credited to their account and these bids cannot be redeemed for buy it now, and hence you would be seeing some users bidding 100s of bids.
But in our experience we have seen people who put in 100s bids actually win the product, this is applicable especially for high value products which are above Rs 25, 000
We followup with most customers for testimonials only few of them provide them and many customers hesitated to give their contact information as its a privacy concent, however we will try to get information from whomever agrees to

2. I don't think any1 wins here. You guys just have an inbuilt bidding system tracking how many users are online, how many bids they have left into their pockets and how far can they go :)
3. And i am sure every1 understands who they are when your firstname users start bidding into the system :)
Guys lets drag them to the court and charge them for Fraud. I will be happy to spend money like this than being fooled by such guys.

On more fact. The moment you leave the bid... it gets over in 5-10 mins. I'd bid for a couple of products from yest night and all have been sold for not more than 10-20 rs where i left. they just keep on increasing the bid till your pockets are empty...
And yeah i don't think any product goes out of their office... actually do you guys really have products for auction or just their images??????

I think they no need to cheat the people, because they are earning more than then they anticipated. For example I am watching one product "Fujifilm 12 MP Digital Camera" with MRP Rs.6, 999. At present bit (yet to complete) Rs.717 i.e. 716 bids are placed at the moment it means they already earned Rs.[protected] X Rs.15).
Common dude 'muralikt', you're missing the point here - Who told you that these 716 bids are made by outsiders? do you've a written proof?

Because the usernames are dummies. Other genuine users just keep loosing in the process.
Never assume that with a group of 3 or 4 you can win, But that is never the case..there are users who can bid
more than the price of the product. you just go mad!!
I observed it for a month. excellent work by the group. (I watched the movie 21 in that there are just 5 guys
but here it is a network of more than 100 usernames, you cant even imagine the strategy. This is another big
mafia network. If not MAGICBID there is someone who is the staff running this mafia from outside, but definitely there is gambling!!!

This is what I find fishy with this website. The testimonials are not open to anyone to add. You basically have to email them your testimonial. Which, first of all, is very indicative of fraud and secondly, helps them filter the testimonials.
And this girl, Ms. Priya who keeps on replying on behalf of MagicBid, please understand that doing business on the internet is not like doing business in India, in Indian style, where you completely ignore and wish away customer complaints.
You are no one to decide when and where you answer to negative feedback. Its your customer who decides which forum is best suited to get our question answered.
