[Resolved]  Marriott Heathrow Hotel — appointment letter

Dear Sir,
I have the received appointment letter for the post of genernal supervisor from marriott heathrow hotel and date of joining is 15 th sep. I request you to let me know whether this is fake or true, because i have been ask to pay the visa fees to the british high commission.

I am Manohar from Mangalore. I have received job offer from Mr. Jonathan King. Human Relation / Recruit Manager of Marriott hotel, UK. I was asked by him to submit my documents. After thinking a bit, I am assuming that if it is fake email.

Reason:
1) He is using his personal email address (external -Hotmail.com) to communicate with the candidates. Marriott hotel is a big established world-wide and it has its own business domain name called marriott.co.uk (It has its own business domain name for each countries). Why can't Marriott provide its own Exchange / POP email account to its employees?

2) He has mentioned their website name as marriott.weebly.com in the interview form and application form. If I check the web address marriott.weebly.com, it is not yet published. The weebly is a template based website creation tool. I came to know that the Marriott hotel has not published its website using tool Weebly. Also, there is no way to Marriott hotel should have such a default web URL http://marriott.weebly.com since it has its establishments world-wide.

3) I have received interview form and application form in same letterhead and the appointment letter in different letterhead.

I ask the personnel of Consumer Complaints Bureau to investigate on this. If you need any other details of the communication held between me and Mr. Jonathan King, please let me know.

The same thing i also got it its a fakes..MARRIOTT is such a big property they will not charge for the visas... pls discuss many times before you proceed

The marriott heathrow hotel — Appointment Letter

Received an appoitment letter from Mr. Joseph Weaver, HR, Director for employee selection team, Marriott Heathrow Hotel, London. I been informed to complete all the formalities related to VISA and join on 22nd August, 2011.

Please confirm whether any organisation like Hotel Marriott does recruit staff with so simple formalities, not even taken interviews, medical tests, any enquiries and with short period, asking to join?

Attached are some of the documents which I have been received on my email, sending for your reference.

Please guide me whether to go ahead or consider this all a fake thing.
