[Resolved]  marriott heathrow london — Fake recruitment /appointment letter

Hi,
A couple of days back, I received a letter from Marriott Heathrow- London, with application and interview forms.....The link to the webiste was given along with the name and no. of the HR head....I called on the no. to find if it was authentic....without stating that it was for recruitments....The person who answered said he was from Marriott- Joseph Weaver- taking care of placements...So i filled up the form, attached all the documents and scanned it and sent it on the e- mail address mentioned....After 3 days I got another mail, stating that I have been selected and have to go ahead with Visa formalities..Thats when it struck me...It was fake...without and interview they cant select....but anyone can be fooled...even the UK diplomats name was the same as one in India these days, except that the no. given was personal and e- mail address that of gmail.....
Then I opened the actual Marriott website and took the reception no. and gave them a call..Thats when they confirmed that its fake......

I did the mistake of giving all my details....If anyone receives such a mail, please thoroughly enquire before taking any further steps...
