Marriott Hotel Uk — Repeated spam sms for job offer

I am repeatedly getting the following sms in my mobile.

The Marriott Heathrow Hotel, London, United Kingdom hereby informing you that we have opening. send your resume to [protected]@gmail.com for details Sender: (no name) TD-MKARAN

Now being an ex-marriott employee I know that marriott official e-mail id's do not have a gmail.com extension. So this is definitely something fishy, more so because I have never applied.
