[Resolved]  MAX Autos, Sangrur, Punjab — Fraud commitments for Dzire

I have a complaint against MAX Auto, Maruti Dealer in Sangrur. I own a Maruti Alto LX 2006 model bought through CSD from MAX Auto Sangrur. I am planning to give my present car to my parents and buy a new Maruti Dzire VXI for myself. I am a true fan of Maruti and have 7-8 maruti cars in my family.

When I contacted Mr Harvinder Singh of MAX Auto for the car he assured me that the car would be delivered to me in less than a month's time when other dealers in Patiala and Chandigarh were asking for 2-3 months. I doubted the integrity of the dealer as when my sister Mrs Shivanjali Singh bought a Dzire VDI from Delhi, she was also given such a false commitment by the dealer in Delhi. Although, she got the car soon after the interference of your GM in Manesar. As per your GM the dealer had given a false commitment to my sister.

I am to leave India in another 2-3 months and would be coming back after around 9 months. I told the dealer about my problem and told him that in case the delivery is not possible I would go in for some other car in the same range. It is important for me to buy the car now as my wife would be using the same after I leave and it would not be possible for her to buy a car without me as I plan to buy it through CSD. Inspite of knowing all this the dealer made a false commitment to me.

After I completed all my documentation work to buy the car from CSD (again a time taking process) and handed over the papers to the dealer, he told me that he would take 2 months to deliver the car to me. I felt ditched and never expetcted this kind of false commitments and services from Maruti. Moreover, I also wasted my time and money in completing all the documentation required to be completed for buying a car through CSD. I will have to do the entire documentation again which will eat up my money and time. I have personally got 12 different models sold from the same dealer to my acquaintances yet I got such a response from him. It seems that he was just wanting me to pay him the money and get stuck in his hands for the delivery.

It was a very bad experince i've had which has made me think of whether to buy a car from you or from some other company. I've even tested Hyundai Accent and Ford Ikon which would cost me even lesser but I decided for Dzire VXI as i've always trusted Maruti and have liked your services. Such an act by the dealers are only tarnishing the image of Maruti and would cost you in loosing your costumers.

I am an Army Officer and can't wait for your dealers false commitments as my organisational and operational requirements will not let me wait for so long.

I would be greatful to you in case you can provide my certain help i.e. as follows:;
(a) Take appropriate action against the dealer (Max Autos, Sangrur).
(b) Help me in buying the car from chandigarh as it would cost me around Rs 10, 000 lesser.
(c) Tell me the exact time it would take you to deliver the car. Maybe then I will be in a position to decide whether to go in for a Maruti or some other product.
(d) Send me the contacts of the dealer in Chandigarh who deals in CSD.
(e) Raise the issue brought out be me to the appropriate level and inform me about your actions.

I would be interested in buying a Maruti Dzire VXI Pearl Arctic White as soon as possible. Any other information you require from me, you are most welcome. I would also be sending similar mails to your higher ups for expediting the actions.

An early action and reply will highly be appreciated.
