I got a call from Chandigarh that I have been shortlisted for interview for the post of assistant project engg. in chandigarh and interview wolud be conducted in Maxo Allight, a sub company as informed on internet which actually is a fraud placement agency which collects data of candidates from websites such as naukri.com etc. Due to lack of knowledge an awareness of such cheats, I went for so called interview from Ambala to Ludhiana near Sardar nagar, where one person asked me questions regarding my stream and finally sent me to another room for document verification.I was quite happy as they offered me a job of salary 16000 p.m. in Chandigarh in Streamline Electronics Manufacturing, a California based company, which actually has no link or branch in India as I searched later. After document verification they asked me Rs600 for filling up form I gave them that money and they said me to come next day for appointment letter. I asked for any other formality and they said you have to give half of your salary before joining as amount of security. Then I got a feeling of being cheated and I came back to Ambala thinking all the way that happened and I searched for the company i.e. Steamline Electonics Manufacturing on internet I got assurance of being cheated and I called them up for address of company in Chandigarh, on which they said it would be written on your letter. After all this I didn't went for letter, then I got a call from them as I was expecting. I said them that I can't give the security amount and asked them to cut it from my first salary which they refused saying the company does not allow this. Again I asked the company address and again they refused to give that. Many such networks are spread in small towns giving fake job offers and themselves earning a lot money everyday. Anyhow, my money matters not to me but such frauds must be punished for cheating many young people like me.
