[Resolved]  Mediclaim, Vipul Medcorp Tpa Pvt. Ltd. — Rejected Hospitalized Mediclaim

Sir
I have taken a mediclaim policy from New India Assurance co. Ltd ( TPA is Vipul MedCorp TPA Pvt.Ltd.) of Rs. 3000000/-and my card no. is 01CAA0039079Z. It is valid from 23.01.2009 to 22.01.2010.

I became hospitalized in Narula hospital, Yamuna vihar, Delhi due to pain in bothlegs & loss of sleep for the period of 12.02.2009 to 13.02.2009.Thereafter i submitted my claim to Vipul MedCorp TPA Pvt. Ltd.
But they are rejected my claim with given reason that " PATIENT WAS ADMITTED WITH C/O PAIN IN BOTHLEGS, LOSS OF SLEEP. DIAGNOSD AS CONVERSION REACTION. PSYCHOSOMATIC AILMENTS ARE NOT PAYABLE AS PER POLICY CLAUSE 4.4.06. HENCE CLAIM MERITS REPUDIATION AS PER OUR OPINION. "

But it is not mentioned anywhere on Doctor discharge/reffer slip.doctor gave only opinion that it will be physicological or orthopadic .but it is not confirmed.

I send many mail to vipul medcorp TPA ltd in this regard to its concern person mr Gurminder singh, BDO. but he is not giving any response.

I have paid all hospitalised expenses and covered all hopitalized treatment .

SO. you are requested please help me to reimburse hospitalized expenses.

vipul ltd. — wrong spelling

Received PAN card with PAN BVXPS4889J but father's name is wrong entered and beside that card was applied as HUF (Hindu Undivided Family) and been issued as normal. Pls suggest the remedy ASAP.
But mistake i wrote 30 lac instead of 3 lac policy. please considered it while processing the complain.

Vipul MedCorp is a cheat. I had the same experience a month ago . On similar grounds they rejected my claim for hospitalization when I collapsed due to Hypertension.

Don't believe such hopeless companies.

its verry good to share my experience with vipulmedcoroTPA pvt ltd, i have opted for cashless facility in manipal hospital bangalore, after sending my card details(that is request letter for authorization), vipulmedcorp bangalore sent me a SMS to my mobile phone within 30mins saying that Mr.Kamalanabha your cashless request is approved for amount 55000 rupees, , i am verry happy the service provided by vipulmedcorp, Thanks
Hi, The psychological related treatments are excluded under the policy. When there is an abiguity cashless is denied. You may apply for reimbursement and based on the endorsement issued by Vipul you may approach the consumer court or insurance ombudsman.
I purchased a policy of Health Insurance through Oriental Insurance Co. Ltd. Sikar of Vipul Med. My Policy No.is 241108/48/2010/86/dated 10.04.2009. I got the policy but i not received the cards. When I contacted the toll free Numbers[protected] and [protected] regarding query of cards on dated 14.08.2009 after 4 months they are saying that your policy is not registered with us.

It is complletely fraud with me.

my policy no-361400/34/08/13/00000248, i am having med ins from new india assurance co since 2007 not availed any med claim.but on[protected] i had gone thru pcnl surgery for removal of stone from left kidney.i got myself admitted in amar hospital patiala for cashless treatment, as vipul shows in its list of hospitals for cash less hospitlisation.vipul sent authorisation to amar for 18000 agst 35000.amar sent all doccuments twice thrice with room rent of 1000etcfor further authorisation.but vipul did not.amar asked me to talk to vipul/dev officer new india mr somesh mittal, i do so, mr somesh, me&amar several times contacted vipul, but all in vain. how can a patient persue his case when he is ill&had faced surgery.when got no answer from vipul even after supplying all bills/doccuments by amar, hospital discharged me on[protected]&requested me to deposit the bal bill of rs 17000app, i refused as i got cashless treatment, however i assured them that my co will definately pay if not i am responsible to pay. today i call to toll free no of vipul to solve my problem they advice me to deposit the balance payment to hospital, &request me to obtain the receipt from hospital and send the same to vipul for reimbursement.how can any co is so harsh to the patient, how can a patient fulfill co requirements when he has recently faced surgery and need rest. what will be the benefit of cashless to me, if i have to do the spade work for reimbursement, it is very easy to send denial by a co, but very difficult for patient to face, when pressed by hosp. to deposit money.i request to attend my complaint &send the bal authorisation to hosp&save my skin.
Vipul Med Corp TPA is a cheat company. I had admitted my father in emergency with numerous complaints like Low Sodium, Uncontrollable TLC, Acute Gastritis, High Cretenine levels, High BP (for kidney patient), Pain in jaw (probably due to dental problem) and Head, Known cardiac pateint with PTC done twice. He is was in real bad state because he could not eat/sleep because of above issues (possibly some more .. still getting more diagnosed). I requested for cashless facility from VIPUL as I had purchased the same worth 18000.00 INR. VIPUL Med Corp TPA rejected the claim saying that the reports (blood test, showing low sodium, potassium, high bp etc..) are not justified to get the patient hospitalized and hence should be treated in OPD. Imagine some one is so sick that doctors are doing endoscopy, ultrasound to assess the reason for immense heat and acute gastritis attacks (which is dangerous for heart patients) and this cheat company replies that their medical director does not sees the justified need of hospitalization. I would consult my advocate and will try my best to sue vipul and will try to get some strict action taken by the court on the medical director of vipul who is competent enough to judge the patients condition without looking at the patient.

I think their medical director thinks people enjoy getting admitted in the emergency. Shame on such a company they are a taboo on India and I feel ashamed that they are also Indians.

I will try my best to educate world about them and their false practices via my legal actions and social awareness through media.

I have a mediclaim policy from National Insurance Co. Ltd for me and my family. TPA has been changed to VIPUL MedCorp from the date of renual of policy this year. I put my card ID no. in Vipul's site for details.It did not open.

I had the bitter experience in the month of Sep 2009;they rejected my claim saying the surgery is not covered under clause 4.3
While giving the policy to corporates why they don't educate the same.It is a 420 case as most of the companies(corporates) are also not bothered.They want to buy some cheap product and not aware of the consequences / result to the individual.

I personally feel both the corporates and the TPA are in hand in hand for selling & buying the cheap product and not educating the same(clauses) to the Individual i.e product details.
