i have purchased one microtech inverter and excide battery from m/s shine electric at kharagpur-721301 and vat has been claimed @12.5% with VAT no-[protected].but as per govt norms VAT should be 4%.also another excide battery was purchased from the same dealer on 14/10/2008 for my indica with a VAT @12.5%. other than this the shine electric has not been cooperating me for the defectivepart of the battery despite of several intimation kindly look into the matter and oblised Was this information helpful? | |

i want to purchase a 8 kva inverter with battery i have collected some quotation"s also from 4-5 dealers but there is a great fluctuation in prices of same company's product (both inverter and battery).
i would be greatly helpful if you could provide the exact VAT, SALES TAX, EXCISE DUTY applicable to this system. i am from Delhi.
