[Resolved] Mindtree Ltd — Non Payment of Gratuity as per Gratuity Act

Hi,
I worked for the company Mindtree Ltd Bangalore for 5 yrs 9 mos. Upon resignation I was not paid the Gratuity as per gratuity Act. During my tenure with Mindtree I was transferred to U.S by Intra-company work transfer related worked for 1 yr 8 mos. Though I worked for the same organisation and management without any interrupt in service for 5yr 9mos, I was not paid Gratuity as part of final settlement.
Kindly need your help to resolve this issue and do the needful.

I have the same issue. I worked for MindTree in India for 4 years and moved to US and then continued to work for MindTree for another 1 1/2 yr. Upon resignation, I was not offered gratuity. It seems like a trend. Even after 5 years o[censored]ninterrupted service, MindTree is denying gratuity. Is this legal?
