[Resolved]  Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation — Poor infrastructure

Address:Thane, Maharashtra

Recently MBMC has increased the Property Tax by 1556 citing provision of Sewerage facilities and Provision towards Water Supply.
It is indeed surprising. Residents of Beverly Park, Mira Road East are facing tremendous problems with respect to Drainage system. The MBMC authorities chopped several trees around Marigold Buildings 1, 2 3,4 and 5 for constructing gutters more than 2 years ago. No such gutters have materialised yet. During monsoon and the extended one this year, there has been severe water logging especially near Marigold 2, 3, 4 and 5.

The Road conditions are also pathetic with civic department claiming helplesness quoting builder has not yet handed the roads to the civic authoriites.

Reliiance and Mahanagar gas has dug up the roads and have not filled them up.

The roads near RBK school are in such dire condition that there is an accident waiting to happen. People will have to come to the streets like the recent rail roko in Vikhroli to bring some sense to the autorities.

Various polititians were invited during Navratri festival and various polititians have been approached by residents of Beverly Park, Gaurav Residence and others to address the apathy, but only assurances have been received with no action.

Power theft by juggies around Beverly Park is rampant with Reliance having full knowledge of the same. The difference is passed on the the hapless consumers who pay their bills regularly.

Politicians promised Municipal park / ground close to Beverly Park, Poonan Garden, but it has remained a dream for several years with the area occupied by juggies and no one attempting to clear the same.

It is time for MBMC to wake up and address these issues.

It is also time for Residents of Beverly Park, Gaurav City, Poonam Garden, and all others to join together and force the Municpal Authriites to act promptly for the Tax Payer.

I completely agree mira raod residents have to take morcha against MBMC. Water Supply problems & road conditions are very pathetic. Instead giving complaints to the politicians & municipal authority (MBMC) noaction is taken since june.
People are busy now a days and are not able to dedicate their time in all such activities. But it does not mean that they are happy. We all are facing tremendous problems in and around our locality from quite a long time now. Its very very sad that MBMC is not active at all, they are not taking even a single step for improvisation, everyone is only interested in filling their pockets. Even the laws and systems are made according to their convenience. They charge us penalty for late payments, they cut our water and electricity connections if we delay in paying our bills. What should we people do if these people delay in doing their work???? Are we suppose to charge penalty from these authorities???? What does the law say??? Is there any law made to tackle these situations????
What do a common man do to fight for his rights????
Should we stop paying our taxes????
Roads are pathetic; street lamps are not installed, even if they are installed they are not maintained; drainage system is not planned properly; water problems. What is MBMC doing????
NONE of these parameters are satisfactory.
Ain't people in MBMC capable enough to solve such problems????
Ain't they well educated to understand the problems????
Do anyone have answers for these questions????
I fully agree that Mira Road infra support is going bad to worse day by day.

- Water tanker lobby by the local corporaters prevent the basic requirement of regular water supply to this locality. This has become a major issue for people especially the Shanti Nagar location which atleast had good water supply all these years till MBMC took charge from the builder.

- Garbage issue has been overlooked inspite of repeated complaints to the corporaters and MBMC making this place unhygenic and stinking all time. This leads to growth of mosquitoes and parasites leading to health issues apart from creating pollution.

- Roads are full of potholes (in some places these potholes are so huge that it looks like craters). It is not not only dangerous for vehicles but even people are unable to walk on the same. Once in a while MBMC makes an eyewash by filling up these potholes by temporary methods during some dignitaries visits. But the roads are back to square one within a weeks time.

- corruption in the stamp-duty / registration offices, rationing offices and other MBMC offices are rampant and common man has to approach these offices only through middle man / brokers.

- there is no metered taxi / auto and people have to be at the mercy of these auto drivers who charge lumpsum amount much higher than what it should be if there was a meter.

- Even the Police department does not act swiftly on minor complaints like theft, robbery, etc
To take care of the Infrastructure is the duty of MBMC. To see to it that it is taken care of by MBMC is the duty of the local corporator. It is obvoious that we th residents generally voted to the wrong persons who are simply interested in lining their pockets. After all - in a democracy we get what we deserve. Now we have to bear with this till next elections. See what people from Bihar did. We at Mira Road also should not vote for some party or rather against the good party simply on the grounds of religion. We now have to suffer because we decided to vote for some pseudo secularists leaving behing the tested shining party and we see the result. This is true about not only our city, where our corporators hail from the party which now boasts of its Mayor, but also about all the cities and also the states ruled by that party, they are taking us to nadir and we truly deserve it as we ourselves decided to vote for them. Either wake up and vorte the correct party or stop cribbing, we got no right to crib and complain after electing the servannts of the lady.
The Occupation Certificate ( O C ) IS an important document for those
purchase flats to live and must be acquired before possession and
Builder must provide OC within four months. The O C is issued by local
Mira Bhayandar municipal Corporation but last 14 years we Geeta
Vidhata CHS Ltd, not received OC/ CONV. DEED from our Builder ie. M/S.
Sonam Builder Mr. Bharat Jain.

We are having 700 flats consisting 11 Bldgs, called Geeta Nagar
Complex, Phase 7, Mira Bhayandar Road, Mira Road (E), Thane 401 107.
tHE MBMC can either evict or impose penalty without OC / CONV. DEED,
the possession is illegal, but...we are all paying PROPERTY TAX TO
MBMC.Even though they are provided OC, and Property Tax increased.

Any updates for Jitendra Kapadia. Seems no any action from Consumer Complaints.
Mira road at shrishti [sector 5 and sect 3] opposite to sector 5 and sect 3 gates there are many accidents because there is no speed breakers. Children's, elderly persons and families cross the roads dangerously by but no one has planned to put a speed breaker.Even cars, bikes, buses are honking the horns every minute breaks our nerves.
