[Resolved] Bmtc — Need to know bus fares

Hi Sir, After a long time i started travelling through buses. I boarded a bus from sarjapur signal to bellandur. I was shocked to hear that though Bellandur is the very next stop i was charged Rs. 5 for that. Could you please tell me what is the minimum rate? I don't think it is Rs. 5. the bus route was 500A. The minimum fare for BMTC bus is Rs. 3/-, but that is only upto 1.5 km. Can't say what the distance between Bellandur Gate and Sarjapur Road cross is.

Yes,
i do agree with that.
Take this scenario : When you travel from Tinfactory(udayanagar) to Ramamoorthy Signal. The usual bus fare is 3Rs.
but no one takes 3Rs. They always charge for KRPuram to Warma Road :Rs 5.

If the ticket fare is Rs3.They wont give ticket, unless we ask that voluntaryly.
