[Resolved] Nikon Coolpix S220 — non-functioning of the camera for the last 5 months | |||
Dear Sir, I would like to inform you that I had bought A Nikon digi cam (s220), 1 and a half years back and even before the warranty period of the said product would expire the product resulted in a mal-functioning state and all of a sudden it stopped to start-up. The product came with 1+1extended warranty. And even after repeated persuation at your service centre, to make the camera functioning within the guarantee period,the service centre(Capital Electronics,Kolkata,India) said that the repairement is chargeable.(dated:August:2011) I would like to know from the authority of the world renown company NIKON why the company is keeping their customers in a state of ambiguity by saying the term 1+1 year warranty when it is not at all so? And also like to put a question on the quality of the product that is been sold, which results in mal-functioning within 2 years, even before the said product's warranty period expires. The warranty period is going to expire on 25th October,2011. Nikon Coolpix S220 — Product not proper
Hi,I'hv taken Nikon Coolpix S220 camera 6 months back from GOA, the product is deffective. the lense was not properly fitted when I took the camera, the very next day I came to know. I approached the dealer he said since u opened the seal you have to take this camera we cannot replace...Instead he repaired it and gave it to me. since then the same problem is continuing. once I've made it by spending Rs 3,000. but of no use, still the camera has the same problem. I tried approaching the Service center but due to poor respond I stopped going..
I am really sick about the product, I know these fellows won't do anything but still products of such type which hinder the consumer usage has to be banned..
