Respected Sir/Madam,

This is in reference to letter dated 13/05/2009 issued to me form S. R. Shetty of DT 01 A.O. 21, Assessing Officer (MUM/D/299/1) asking to furnish Bank A/C details for issue of Refund for Return of Income for A.Y. 2006 -07 amounting to Rs. 24, 820/-. The concerned AO had asked me to furnish Bank A/C details in the format prescribed in the Letter.

I had submitted the prescribed details mentioned in the Letter to the AO (MUM/D/299/1) Income Tax department, Centralised Processing Centre (salary), C-12, BKC Bandra Mumbai 400051 vied my letter dated 29th October, 2009 via post and also after 2 months i had submitted the same letter personally to the above mentioned address.

7 months have passed since I had submitted the letter via post. I have not yet received the refund nor any further communication regarding the same from the AO.

I am retired person and the amount of refund is material to me.

I Kindly request you to take up the matter with concern authorities on top priority and help me receive my hard earn money as soon as possible.
