Would appreciate if you kindly update on the inside of these SMS and Mails, also if this is a fraud what the respective authorities are doing to tab these fraud people?

I have received an e-mail from O2 Telecommunications.which says that i have won the £500, 000.00 GBP they asked me to send some personal details.I don't know it is true or fake/scam?please inform me that it is scam or not
