[Resolved]  OLAY CREAM — No appropriate service

Hi,

this probably will be a long message so only if you have patience read further.

I bought OLAY product with which i received a voucher for free salon treatment worth 500. I am a working women somehow gets the appointment of 6.30 on a thursday evening.

1. I call the parlour which is bubbles beauty saloon in Annan agar and ask for direction...no one could help me with it.
2. I manage my way to saloon at 6.17 and i ask for a facial.
3. Attendant there could not speak English and she refused to give facial to me.
4. Another lady comes to rescue and says that the voucher is applicable only for skin cleaning of worth 500.
5. post arguing and saying that i will take this up with OLAY and also informing her that i might end up doing pedicure and manicure also she agrees to do facial.
6. 6.40 the attendant starts my facial and the ways she cleans my face is almost similar to cleaning a chicken before cooking it.(In my mind i started contemplating if i really needed this facial)
7. at 7.12 she tells me facial is over and i can change and come out.

Now is this the kind of treatment i would expect from any tie up a company like Olay does.

Not to forget I also pay service tax on 500 which is actually not even paid by me. I have submitted the receipt with my complain.

This not only spoiled my evening but also gave me a bitter taste to remember forever.

I agree with you. Most likely this voucher was just a big gimmick. Their response is bad and they promise to call you back to confirm the appointments and no one does. this happened to me twice. I realised i was jst wasting my time with the voucher. Obviously the olay guys've met their sales targets n are happy. They cudn't care less about their promises on the voucher.
I had a similar experience.They are no different then any small time company thriving upon by befooling customers this way.
