[Resolved]  Passport Application — Delay in the Passport Application processing file NO A026906

Hi Guys

My Name is Kadiyala Phani.I am resident of Secunderabad Andhra Pradesh.I had applied for Passport on the 27-Mar-2008 file no A026906 at the Secunderabad RPO, following which my police verification was done in the first week of April and the report was disptached by the Police office on the 16-Apr-2008 to the passport office.
It was a Clear report the details are:
Dispatch date 16-apr-2008, outward number 634, serial number 28, SB number RNA105159

However till date there has been no progress.I visited the passport office on 5 different occasions(2 times at Enquiry counter, 2 times passport adalat and 1 time PRO) and have given the Report details.i was told that the details would be up dated in a week, but till date no response.I visited the PRO of the office on 14-aug-2008 who assured me that my passport status would be updated in 10 days but till date it is the same.

Please can anyone tell me what am i supposed to do inspite of all the details being clear i am being denied my passport for almost 6 months now.and also what the people at the passport office are doing.
