[Resolved]  Passport Inquiry — Passport not received last 6th month

Application Date : 12/07/10
Applicant's Date of Birth: 08/07/86

I had applied for my passport on 12nd July 2010 but I have not received my passport till now. The police verification was also done in month of December.

I have checked online but the status shown is:
"Your File Number is wrong."

Please let me know how to progress further.
