Sir,I had applied for renewal of my passport on 25/8/2011.My file No is L/011091/11.Till this date the status shows submit your marriaige certificate.I have submitted the same 1 month back.But the status remains the same.Kindly let me know what is the real problem and when I can expect my passport

Passport office Hyderabad — Delay in despatch of my passport

Dear Sir,

I've applied for passport in the month of Sept. The status have been "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time" for the past 4months. I tried reaching them on phone, never worked. Went directly to Hyd office. They read the same as in the status. Please help me out getting my passport at the earliest. My file reference number is HYD-Z156585

My wife’s passport verification is already completed in May'11. When I checked the status it is always showing as “It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time” for the past few months.

We are eagerly waiting for passport. Please do the needful.
