Passport Office Kolkata — non receipt of passport after police verification | |||
i noor jahan have submitted application for passport on 17-11-09. The police verification has been done on 23-12-09. But till now i have not received the passport despite daily asking the post master concerned. i am not able to confirm what is the reason of delay in sending me the passport by kolkata passport office. i along with my husband have applied for the passport but only my husband has received the passport. we both have been alloted with numbers 3766 and 3765. My name is Srimanta Kumar Mishra and I had applied for renewal of my passport vide No B010111 on 12th April'2010. The earlier passport was issued from Bhubaneswar. Though in th meanwhile almost 4 months have passed I am yet to receive any respons on issuance of passport from authority. I have several time visited passport office and every time I got one nswer and that is: It has been sent for police verification and yet to get their report. Please enquire with DIB, 24 pragana(N) poice at Barasat.
I last visited nd met concerned person at Barasat DIB police who upon checking informed me that my papers have not been sent by the passport office.
Sir please look in to the matter and issue my new passport immediately/ at an early date.

passport — Non-Issuance of passport after police verification
This is to bring to your notice that my father who is a Senior Citizen had applied for renewal of passport on 19 may 2009 in New Delhi. He has not received his passport till date and even after visiting the passport office twice giving applications to the officer nothing has happened till date. Normal delivery time for passport is 60 days and now it has been 90 days. All of his children are settled out of India & He badly needs his passport to leave the country on an urgent work. But seems no one is coming to our rescue. His file number is A0272039.
