[Resolved]  Passport Office, Patna — Excessive delay in passport

My mother is a senior citizen. Applied for a fresh passport on 23.02.2010. Police verification was successfully done in March when a police officer visited the residence. Now nearly 5 months has passed and the passport is still awaited.
