Delay in Issuing Passport
I have been busy with traveling to the passport office reaching there before officials standing in queue waiting patiently not even allowed to get inside the roof, getting wet, waiting for around 6hours, that's the they work in two days with nothing more than promises that the passport will be delivered within days, months passed nothing happened what am I supposed to do ?.I gave more than 10 applications for inquiry, assistant passport officer, passport officer with all sufficient documents checked and rechecked confirmed OK .Five months passed by
and a good amount of money gone in the process . Still !! My status reads

I applied for it on JAN 22 2009 for a name change, I was lucky then because then

"AT LEAST I HAD A PASSPORT "

Even while all these are happening I see people coming out of luxury cars questioned by none and respected by every one directly visiting passport officer overtaking the commoner in the queue with the help of official security to stop anyone objecting . Sharing jokes with the passport officer and after spending sometime inside the Air Conditioned office Leave with passport in his Hand escorted by security .All this happens in minutes !!


Is This because

" I AM A COMMONER ? "


I said my hardships to the security while waiting he told me

"YOU ARE LUCKY SOME PEOPLE TAKE MORE THAN A YEAR IN THE PROCESS "

Is this the democracy and secularism promised for an Indian as a commoner, then

"I FEEL PITY FOR COMMONERS IN INDIA "

i strongly agree with you i also met with such experiences but its over now it was a nightmare for me, in queue for hours, won't forget those days

I have applied for the renewal of my old passport on 22/7/2009 with file No. C019970. A police men from Kallambalam Police station verified all details and I showed him my certificates and identity proof on[protected].But I am sorry to inform you that I couldn’t get my new passport till the date. If I should submit any other proof, please inform me. It is not so, I request you to consider my aplication at earliest.

my self al-ameen.s i had applied for passport in 1st june09. My permanent address verification is over before 2 month, at that time i am also there in my permanent address. But i am studing in New Delhi and i given my institute bonafide letter with my application. my institute verification is pending Now its self. I had mailed this complaint before 1 month.now its self no action is taken by passport office. But office replyed that they send to SP NAJAFGARH But here is no S.P office in Najafgarh there only ACP Office & i have gone there. but they told that, they didnt got my verification letter.  And here local police not verifying passpost verification. That only by CID POLICE, Police bhawan, asaf ali road, new delhi, ph:[protected], fax:[protected]. What should i have to do sir.
