ou could try creating a new password for the account.I seriously doubt that your account was hacked, though. It is more probable that you opened an email comtaining a worm or virus.
NEVER open an email from someone or some site that you don't know or aren't familiar with! And sometimes, even that won't help; I received and email form my sister, and fortunately, Norton caught and blocked it!
NEVER use a word that is in the dictionary (or) a person's name.
If you change your password, go to this site and test how 'Strong' it is: http://www.passwordmeter.com/
Using letters and numbers is okay, but you're far better off if you use symbols ($ or & or @) as-well,in the first four characters of your passwordand all through it
If changing your password doesn't cure the problem, create a new hotmail account, and send it ONLY to those people you regularly communicate with. Also, in changing to a new account, if you go regualrly to any Sites that require you to enter your email and a password, you'll have to change to your new email accouint and the new password.
