[Resolved] POPULAR CAR BAZAR — DEFECTIVE SELLING OF CARS & CHEATS | |||
HELLO! EVERYONE, I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE READ THIS FORUM OR HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED. BUT I THINK WE NEED TO TAKE OUR ISSUES SERIOUSLY & TAKE SERIOUS ACTIONS AGAINST SUCH FRAUDSTERS & CHEATERS. I BOUGHT A USED CHEVROLET OPTRA 2004 CAR FROM POPLUAR CAR BAZAAR FROM MR. NARENDRA BASED IN ANDHERI, MUMBAI ON 31ST MAY'10. THERE WAS CLUTCH ISSUE WHICH I TOLD MR. NARENDRA & MR. VISHWANATH WHO ASSURED ME SEVERAL TIMES THAT THEY WILL SORT IT OUT & I CAN TAKE THE CAR NEXT DAY. I DROVE THE CAR FOR JUST 2 MONTHS, APPROX. 10-15 TIMES ONLY. ON 25TH JULY 2010 MY FAMILY WENT TO DADAR FROM WADALA WHICH IS AROUND 5-8KM & THE CAR'S CLUTCH PLATE WAS BURNT & THE RADIATOR BURSTED & WHOLE COOLANT CAME OUT WITH LOADZ OF SMOKE. MY PARENTS & MY BRO WERE TAKEN OUT OF THE CAR BY THE LOCAL POLICE THERE, & THE WHOLE CAR WAS SURROUNDED BY PUBLIC & POLICE. EVERYBODY WAS SO SCARED THAT THEY THOGHT THE WHOLE CAR IS GOING TO BURST AS SO MUCH SMOKE CAME OUT. THE WHOLE TRAFFIC WAS BOUGHT TO A STANDSTILL. THAN MY FATHER CALLED UPON A MECHANIC BUT HE SAID THE CAR HAS TO BE TOWED AS IT CANNOT MOVE COZ THE CLUTCH PLATE WAS BURNT, THE CAR WAS FINALLY TOWED TILL OUR HOME. THIS WHOLE PROCESS TOOK 2-3Hrs. AFTER THIS INCIDENCE MY FATHER WAS SO DISTURBED & SO TENSED THAT HE STARTED BLEEDING SUDDENLY PROSTRATE INCREASED & HE HAD TO BE ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL IN THE NIGHT AS THEY REACHED HOME AROUND 10 ON A SUNDAY. IT WAS REALLY FATAL. I CALLED UP MR. NARENDRA & VISHWANATH THEY SENT THE MECHANIC 2 DAYZ LATER & THEIR MECHANIC SAID YES THE CAR WAS FAULTY BEFORE YOU BOUGHT. BUT THOSE POPULAR GUYS REFUSED TO ACCEPT & SAID WE WILL REPAIR BUT WE HAVE TO BARE THE EXPENSES. THIS INCIDENCE IS STILL A SHOCK TO US. HENCEFORTH, I AM ADVICING EVERYONE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY A 2ND HAND CAR FROM POPULAR CAR BAZAAR THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CHEATS & FRAUDS. I HAVE NOW DECIDED TO BUY A NEW CAR. Hey maan, my sympathies to u, Mr. Narendra is a F$# lying weesel and so is Mrs. Rani Sethi, i had purchased a ZEN from them this was d greatest mistake of my life... read it on Mouthshut.com in buying used car section.. these ppl need to be taught a gud lesson,
Guys! My experience with Car Bazaar was also worst. I had recently booked a Ford Figo - Sea Grey through them. Their Senior Sales person Nidhi Iyer confirmed that the car is available and will be delivered in 2 weeks. Then they extended then, same till 1 month. I paid them an advance of Rs 25, 000 and bal amnt of close to Rs. 4, 10, 000/- After my money got credited, they told me that Sea Grey Color is not available and the only available option is White. They harassed me in returning back my original documents and refund amount as I did not want to go for white color. Nidhi and Shashikiran used to avoid the calls and would never revert back to any of my emails. They refunded my amount after several reminders when the matter was escalated to their MD, Sinha. I got my money back after 2 months.These ppl wasted my time and energy. I plan to initiate consumer complaint for harassment and trouble I went through. These ppl are not reliable and trust worthy.
even i bought a car indica from popular car bazaar that was also faulty. they changed the compressor of AC and Tyre. I spend the 45, 000 in just 2 months. They are making fool to people. I suggest please do not buy car from the popular car bazaar.
please make a forum on face-book against them and let the people know about this.
