i have brought a prestige 3 stove cook top in sept 2010 from sahakar nagar prestige shop . and on 14th (saturday ) May while cooking dal in the pressure cooker , the glass of the cook top shattered .
we went to the shop keeper same day and showed the glass top to him and he said within ( also mentioned no service on sat & sunday) 48 hrs somebody will come to your house and correct it.
i called every day after monday to remind , one person did come on wednesday and he made me speak to his manager , who clearly denied that glass has no warranty and it broke only because smthing fell on it.
i tried my level best to explain it to him taht it broke because of heat and nothing fell on it and since i have 2 years of warranty , it should be reapired at the company cost.but he clearly told no and asked me to pay for the glass .
although i agreed to pay but adsked them to show me ,
1. where is it mentioned it in warranty card that no warranty on glass
2. what is the assurance if i get it repalced today it will not break again .
but manager said no for everything and asked me to pay 1670 for getting the glass replaced.
i asked the technician to replace the glass but till today , i have been calling this person every day but everytime he gives an excuse and promises to come next day.
still the glass top is not repaired i wanted to raise a complain since i am facing great difficulty because of this Was this information helpful? |
