[Resolved]  Rak Ceramics — Defects in the sanitory product

Nature of the Complaint :1)Crack at the Base and 2)Crack at the Bowl area on both the products installed in Two different flats.

In the context of preliminary findings by Mr. GV Ramana Murthy, Regional Manager, RAK, , ie Non placement of bolts at the base due which crack has developed due to the thermal properties of cement placed beneath and the yet to be established reason for the crack at the bowl area, we have few suggestions to make which could be incorporated as preventive measures for any such future complaints.

1)Provide Fixing instructions along with the product.
2)Provide all the accessories like bolts which are Critical to Quality of the Product
3)Have a list of Accesories which will be provided in the Fixing Instructions so that these could be verified at the time of Delivery.
4)Mandate the Dealers that all the accessories are provided to the customer along with the product.
5)Also have an user manual prepared.

Sat, 31 Jan 2009 --Thank you very much. After visiting your complaint consulted our production / quality at plant for solution, but understood that, as discussed earlier with you it cannot be treated as qaulity complaint, hence it cannot be replaced due to quality defect. But in this regard we shall speak to our General manager - S/w, and get back to you.

12 Feb 2009 --Factory SQC, denied replacement as it is not a techincal complaint, i am looking at alternatives. just give me some time

We are totally dissatisfied for the lack of response for more than a month.Since we feel that defects in the Sanitory product which we purchased, originated either due to processing parameters or the lack of accessories and Work Instructions during fitting, we would be taking the matter forward so that due justice is rendered to us.
