Delay in Issuing Passport

Dear Madam/Sir,

I wish to bring in your notice that my wife applied for a new passport with Ranchi Passport Office on December 14, 2009 with file reference no. A029896. For the last 3 1/2 months the "passport status" showing Police Report has not been received". Her police inquiry (Thana) was done some 3 months ago but the CID inquiry has not been carried out till date.

May I request your good offices to intervene so that passport can be issued at the earliest as she need her passport urgently.

I have submitted my passport application on 08-jan-2010. My police & CBI verification have already
been done accordiingly. Inspite of these I didn't got my Passport after 2 months of CBI verification. I don't knowt know at which stage of procedure it have occure a problem.

Sir,

Can you please tell me the time required for change of address in passport and the time required for obtaining PCC from Ranchi passport office. Also, can both of them can be done together as in what is the least time for both of them to get done together. I am staying abroad and need to plan my trip according to this information only.
