Respected Sir/Madam,
I have cancelled my name from my maternal ration card on 29th Dec06. Unfortunately the receipt was lost while travelling in Goregaon West.
When approached the Goregaon Rationioning office, I was advised to file a Affidavit & lodge a NC at the police station.
On 19th July 0 i have reported the loss in Goregaoin Poilice station & submitted the Affidavit original in my name. I now have a NC from police with the copy of the affidavit.
On 29th Aug, when i went to the rationing office in Goregaon West, the Officer (Mr. Jagtap) idvised to write an application letter narrating the whole episode & purpose of applying for a duplicate copy of the cancellation receipt.
After writting the letter they then asked for the signature, name & address of the person in whose name the new ration card would be.
My query is that - WHY am i asked to get the signature of the person on whose ration card my name is to be added? When the name was cancelled initially, i was not asked for any such signature. Then why NOW???
Also whenevr i have enquired about a duplicate ration card slip from the ration card enquiry counter, tehy always say that there is "NO OPTION/SOLUTION for loss of cancelllation receipt" . ONLY on giving the reference of the previous procedure details given by their own official, do they divert me for further information. Moreover the information is NEVER complete. when asked for the procedure after submission of the letter, the official says that he will inform that later.
This means everytime i have keep catering to his needs & keep visiting their office.
Please take strict actions against this attitude & approach. Every person gives different information & dont respect consumers time & effort. Was this information helpful? |
I have applied for a new ration card on Jan-2009. Stil i willnot get my new ration card.please kindly arrange to ge the ration card.
