[Resolved]  Ration Card — Misspelling of name in Ration Card

The ration card when renewed has misspelled my name. My name is Liszel and they have spelled my name as Kiszel. This posing alot of problems to get my PAN card and other important documents. When I went to the Ration Card office in Dahisar East as I live in I.C.Colony, Borivali west, they told me that I needed to go to Charni Road to get it Gazetted. This is simply ridiculous , for a fault of theirs, I have to go all the way to do something and pay money and then to add to everything receive the document in 2 months. This isn't fair. This is a money making racket, where I think they purposely make mistakes so that we the people coem and pay extra money to get the problem fixed which was created by them in the first place.

I took all my documents to the ration card officer in Dahisar, Birth Certificate and all other documents that was proof of my name but was just shooed out of there like some kind of fly.

What should I do regarding this?
