[Resolved] Regional Passport Office, Ahmedabad — Not processing my passport application | |
hi, i have filled the passport application on 21st january 2009 and today its 17th March 2009, its still not recieved to the police station for 'police report clearence'. I visited passport office in 4th week of Febraury and the consumer relationship officer told that they will process again but till date not process. I enquired to police station / head office of police station but all in vain. Now when I gone again to passport office, they are telling to take in writing from police station that they did not recieved the file yet. then only he will follow it. what can I do? I had sent my passport appln through DSP office, palanpur and in confirmation, it has been sent for the police verification .The police verification has been verified on[protected]. sir still what time it will take to process and reach to me.and let me Know the present status & sir please give me information about my passport . due to waiting for passport i can't give my IELTS exam so do something on this metter, i m waiting for that send me reply please sir

I m Ashwin Somabhai Mehra . My pass port no is F8114454 and date of issue is 17/5/2006. Now I have come to know that in my passport there is a spelling mistake. In the address the name of city instead of VADODARA the word VADODAR is printed. There is a very small mistake. By mistake 'A' is not printed. This small mistake can creat a great problem. I want to apply for visitor visa during the process i have come to know this defect. Its more than 2 years since it is issued. In my form i had written VADODARA. In my whole family's pass port there is no mistake but in my this occur.
Please guide me as quickly as possible what I shold do now. Should I apply for a new passport. If so where shoul I reply? Which documents are now required? What will be the fee. And how i should pay.
Please reply sir quickly. Is it required to come at the office at Ahmedabad? Or can it be done by net or at post office?

I Abdulvakil Parmar has been sublimated my son who is 2 years old passport form with all the necessary documents at G.P.O. Patan on 21st December 2011, and file number is " Z[protected] after that "Police Enquiry" has been completed on 29th January. 2012, still on your website it is showing that or not get passport and .I am disturb and I have so many problem because presently I am working in Bahrain (gulf) I want bring my family here but I can’t because of my son passport, since 4 months I am waiting for my son passport I could not apply for my family visa. Hope you will understand my problem and take necessary step.
