[Resolved]  Regional Passport Office, Bangalore — Delay In Processing Of My Passport

Subject: DELAY IN PROCESSING OF MY PASSPORT

Hello Sir/Madam,

My name is Mr.Srinivas N, and I had applied for a Fresh Indian Passport at RPO,Koramangala,Bengaluru on:
04/05/2011 and got my Police Verification done in the month of June 2011.
It has been 50 days since, and my status on the website still reads -

Surname: NALLAPPA
Type of Application: Normal
Application Received on Date:
21/05/2011

"Police has completed verification process on
15/07/2011. Your passport will be dispatched after Clear Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office. You would receive an email/sms once the passport is dispatched.."

The above status is still the same and is completely Frozen..Its Extremely Super Frustrating and Irritating, as none of the Govt and Passport officials are responding to my grievance...I have already lost an oppurtunity of getting a job overseas because of this delay in my passport..

Nothing is clear and transparent from the Passport Website, as it imparts all false information to the citizens.
Normal Scheme: 30 - 40 days is . It never comes in this duration and I am extremely pissed off and super irritated...

Bangalore is an IT hub of India but its shame full the online status website is not updated / not working. whats happening????
And why is it guiding the Indian citizens with all false information?

Why is that nobody picks up the call at RPO Office,Bengaluru, inspite of trying it for 3 months on a daily basic?

Why is that not even a single Bengaluru Zone(North/South/East/West) Public Grievance Officers respond when I try calling them up everytime?

Why is that there is not a different counter for online applicants at RPO,Koramangala, inspite of adding that feature on Passport site?

Why is that the Police Officials doesnt turn up to my home for Police Verification, rather than I approching them?

Why do these Police Officials ask for money (BRIBE), when they carry out Police Verification for my passport?

Why does the Govt official who works at commissioner police office,Bengaluru, act so rude towards the citizens complaints? What does he think he's working there for charity or something?

Why is our Govt still having this site (http://www.rpobangalore.gov.in/npassport.asp)online, if it is not working? how annoying the service is.

When can we have expect a fully improved IT system?

Why are the officers not taking any action to improve services?

Why are we still lagging behind?

How long does it usually take for them to Print, Laminate, Quality check and dispatch the passport?

It seems like there is no proper guideline and deadline for the issuance of Passport in India. Every regional passport office has their own processing and delivery time.
We can only wait...wait .... and wait .....

I am really ashamed of these govt offices because, wherever we go, there is corruption and bribes being encouraged to move the files forward.Seems like they dont serve their purpose and are completely useless.They are working for government and not for common people..

Remember? there is an engraved quote on the Vidhana Soudha –
“Government Work is God’s Work”…
YES! I understand that now in a better way.

All this reminds me the sentence of late Swami Chinmayanand “one must offer the prashad to every Devata to get your work done in the religious(?) modern India.”

Please HELP..I am in urgent need and this is really making me loose my sleep over it, as this process is heading into the painful 4th month, since I have applied for my passport..

This is my humble request:
For God's sake atleast, let me know my Passport Status..
Its very very very important for my career...
Please Please Please Please HELP........
