I have applied for renewal of Passport for my daughter Priti Rani Hazarika on 14th Sept "10 with file no GUWC00339610. Her Police varification over from PS Dhaligaon, and the report sent by competent authority SP Chirang to SB Kahilipara. SB Kahilipara sending their report on 10th January' 11 Vide letter no: 4B/IX/5/113(CRD)/2011/4 to your office. I am waiting to get her passport at an early date, as we palnned to go to UK in April'11 after her exam in March'11. As you know that VISA formalities for UK is quite tough and lengthy.So pl clear her Passport and sent in her address.

With reference to the above, I have to state that I applied for Passport on[protected]. But since then 4years have already elapsed yet I have not received my passport. On further enquiry to the passport office with the present APO I have been told that my passport has been delivered to my address and I have been given a speed post regd. no. Vide-579838 which was despatched by post on 29 DEC 2008.After that I again made further enquiry to the post offices of Dispur as well as of Meghdoot bhavan but it was also in vein. regional passport office ghy — lost of my file
sir,i had submitted a file on 2011 through an agent but after few months i heard that it got lost and now the file is not been shown closed so how do i close it as i am in kanpur now and want to apply for a fresh one now. kindly look into my passport status since it says my file number does not exist. My wife's passport application status not known although the police verification report completed and SP Kamrup forwarded the report on Ist July'13 . SP (Special Branch) Guwahati also forwarded the detaisl of her application as shown below :

In this connection I had visited passport office during Sept'13 and the enquiry staff assured me that the passport would be issued very shortly . After waiting for more than 2 months I had visted once again on 11th of Nov'13 for enquiry about the passport . The enquiry staff again assured me that all documents received by them and the passport is due for dispatch . It is really unfortunate to note that Regional Passport Office, Guwahati not maintaning the stastus working as a Govt of India office under Ministry of External Affairs.
