my file no.HYD H00651108.. STATUS ENQUIRY TODAY SHOWS POLICE REPORT NOT RECEIVED. BUT LOCAL POLICE SAY THAT MY PAPERS ARE NOT RECEIVED BY THEM. SINCE WE ALL DO NOT KNOW THE ACTUAL STAGES THROUGH WHICH THE APPLICATIONS PASS... I am Sachin Mehrotra, My wife is having valid passport issued 2 Years back. Now i want to add Spouse Name ( My Name ) on her passport. The passport is issued by Ghaziabad passport office. I applied the Spouse Name Adding application to Delhi Passport because i am living in Gurgaon. But Delhi Passport office said that in My wife passport is showing Police Verification Pending even though my wife received the passport.
Can you suggest how to proceed because i have to apply passport fo my 6 month old baby.
