[Resolved] Regional Passport Office, Patna — non receipt of passport even after two & half month of application

I have applied for passport on 19th June'08. My file reference number is- A075523 and passport application number is- 0036388. I was told that I will get passport after 35 days. Now even 70 days have passed, i have not got any passport from regional passport office, Patna. Even I wrote mail to the office of Regional passport office(Patna) Mr. B.R.Arya (rpo.[protected]@mea.gov.in), there was no response from there side. Not even that, I have not even got any verification call from local police station. It seems that they have lost the application forms somewhere or dont know what the hell they do after receipt of application. I think all the persons concerned must be punished. Either it be the person incharge of rpo patna, or it be the local police responsbile for verification (who are notorious for taking bribes for all the verifications done by them).
