[Resolved]  RPO Ahmedabad — Not recieved the Passport

Dear Sir,

Once again request you to kindly look in to the matter, I am also summarising the chronology of my Passport file so far;
-Applied for the passport at Vadodara GPO on 08-Apr-2009, file number is Z/191950/09(Key Number [protected]).

-Police enquiry completed on 02-May-2009 at Fatehganj Police station, Vadodara.Police report sent to Regional Passport office on 04-May2009 vide post receipt Ref.6515 dtd.04-May-2009.

-Received a "Show Cause Notice" (dtd.19-May-2009) from your office on 25-May-2009.

-Visited Regional Passport office, Ahmedabad on 27-May-2009 met Mr G.A. Sane (Assistant Public Information Officer) along with reply to the "Show Cause Notice" (dtd.19-May-2009), he discussed the matter with me and after that he told me to submit the DD(011867 dtd.26-May-2009) of INR1, 000/- to the receipt counter, receipt number (Balance receipt printed at 15:48 by 3539, Ref.AHDZ19195009 dtd.27-May-2009, service 11 34, mode direct).

-Mr Sane confirmed that all formalities required to issue the Passport is completed and the Passport will be received at your end within 5-7 days time.

-Faxed request / complain (enclosed e-mail dtd.02-Jun-2009) on your Fax No.[protected] and on Fax No. of Central Public Information Officer, ie.[protected] on 02-Jun-2009.

-Faxed request / complain, gentle reminder 1(enclosed e-mail dtd.03-Jun-2009) on your Fax No.[protected] and on Fax No. of Joint Secretary (CPV) & Chief Passport Officer, ie.[protected] on 04-Jun-2009.

-Faxed request / complain, gentle reminder 2(enclosed e-mail dtd.03-Jun-2009) on your Fax No.[protected] and on Fax No. of Joint Secretary (CPV) & Chief Passport Officer, ie.[protected] on 08-Jun-2009, complain number PRO/PG/1707/09.

-On Internet status, "Police Report Pending", please check at your end.

-I have also stated in my complain dtd.02-Jun-2009 that my father name appearing on Internet status is wrong, my father's name as per application form is Mr Vinodrai Bhagvanjibhai Thanki, please correct the same in your records.

You may please refer attached e-Mail for details regarding above facts.

I request you to look in to the matter and revert immediately if any actions are required at my end, else, please organise for issue of my passport without any further delay.

Dear Sir,

This is further to enclosed e-Mails, I have talked to your Mr Tejwani / Mr Gameti today, still I do not have any clear idea as to what is the problem and why Internet gives "Police report pending" status(?!!!) for my passport application, whereas Police enquiry of my case, my wife's(file No.Z/191951/09) and my daughter's (Z/191954/09) case where done together, sent by Police head office, Vadodara to Ahmedabad Passport office together, passport for Z/191954/09 and Z/191951/09 has already been issued(on 16/05/2009) whereas in my case Police report is pending?!!!.I humbly request you to ask the concern department to locate the report at Ahmedabad office.

I have talked to Mr Tejwani / Mr Gameti today, they want me to visit Ahmedabad Passport office once again on 08-Jun-2009 with duplicate police report. I have talked to Police head office in Vadodara to get a duplicate copy of my police report, they have refused to give me the duplicate copy of the police report and asked me to re-apply by filling-in fresh form, then again police report shall be made and shall be sent to Passport office by them only, thru post, to your office, they can not give it to me. I do not know how much time it would take and what is the guarantee that the report will not get misplaced??!!! As per me and logically the Passport office should contact the Police head office at Vadodara to get the required documents. I am suffering just because two (very responsible) Government offices are not talking to each other.

I really feel helpless and disgusted as I am suffering due to no fault attributable to me and kind of responses (casual) given by senior officers.

I am ready to come to Passport office Ahmedabad provided I get right information regarding status of my file and what all documents are required to close the issue once for all, otherwise, what I feel is, I will be again asked to come to Ahmedabad office for some other reasons. Please understand I am working with a private organisation where it is difficult to get leaves so frequently.

I hope you will understand my position and do needful at your end.

I shall be glad to get your reply by tomorrow afternoon.

Please attend to this file number - Z/191950/09 for which apparently some
penalty has also been paid by the applicant. The error in the name of
mother / father apparently appearing in the web informtion may also be
attended to before issue of passport, if the mistake has been on account
of the Passport office.

Sub: Passport file number Z/191950/09 (Key Number [protected])

Dear Sir/s,

I have applied for Passport on 08-Apr-2009 from Vadodara City GPO, the
file number is Z/191950/09 (Key Number [protected]). The police enquiry was
completed on 02-May-2009 at Fatehganj Police station, Vadodara. I have
checked with Police Head office (Police Bhavan) at Vadodara, they have
confirmed that the Police report against my aforesaid application has
already been sent to Regional Passport office on 04-May2009 vide post
receipt Ref.6515 dtd.04-May-2009.

I had received a "Show Cause Notice" (dtd.19-May-2009) from your office
which I had received on 25-May-2009. As instructed in the Notice, I
visited your office on 27-May-2009 with an "Affidavit" and met Mr G A Sane
at 4:00pm. He discussed the matter with me and after that he told me to
submit the DD(011867 dtd.26-May-2009) of INR1, 000/- to the receipt
counter, receipt number (Balance receipt printed at 15:48 by 3539,
Ref.AHDZ19195009 dtd.27-May-2009, service 11 34, mode direct).

After that, the Affidavit along notice handed over to Mr Sane, he
confirmed that all formalities required to issue the Passport is completed
and the Passport will be received at your end within 5-7 days time.

I wish to inform you that I have not received any correspondence from your
end after 27-May-2009 nor the Passport. I have been trying to get the
Information from you office over phone[protected], 9104, 9106, 9107,
9108) but could not get any details from your officers.

Also note, on Internet my Mother's name is appearing in place of my
Father's name. Please take corrective action at the time of printing the
Passport.

I have couple of foreign Interviews on Hold due to non-availability of my
Passport, please let me know when can I get the Passport.
