Respected Sir,

I, SHEELAM JOSEPH VINAY KUMAR, applied for passport renewal 5 months back, on 06.Nov.2009, in RPO Secunderabad (Hyderabad city), File#HYDL00398909.

The police verification was completed on 18.Dec.2009. As per the status in the passport status webpage, the police verification was clear and the passport would be despatched by 13.Jan 2010. It was showing the same status for more than one month. After my repeated follow ups with the passport office in New Delhi by emails, the status was changed to - "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". This has been the status since 13.Feb.2010.


Till now I have not received my renewed passport. It has been 5 months since my date of application!

I have made abroad plans which got severely impacted due to this delay and I am in the verge of losing my abroad job opportunity.

I find myself helpless in this situation. Several of my colleagues are also going through the same situation.

I am coming to you as the last option. I request you to please take up my case and do the needful for immediate issuance of my renewed passport and help me in fulfilling my abroad aspirations.
