My sincere suggestion to people who want to use the services of Sahara Packers and movers - DONT. I faced a harrowing time with them on documentation, delivery, misuse of car and misbehavior by the delivery driver. Firstly my car delivery was delayed by almost a week. Then it was delivered after a lot of follow up in a bad condition with scratches and an additional 200+ kms which was not accounted for nor clarified till date. When I asked for the insurance document confirmation was told that it will be delivered today, tom and so on which never materialised. In fact while booking itself I had clearly stated that I require it. On the delivery date when I questioned the driver and refused to hand over the money till I got what I asked for, the driver starter misbehaving and actually accused me of scratching my own car . UNBELIEVABLE ! Inspite of repeated follow up for clarification or document, am yet to recieve the same. The owner - Jitesh appeared to be nice initiatlly but has till date not kept up to any of his promises . Tired of following up with him. Their website appears like they offer the best services but dont do anything as stated. Horrible experience and till date struggling to get a response. PLEASE DONT EVER USE THEIR SERVICES AND PASS THIS ON TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. Was this information helpful? | |

Never go for Maa Sahara Packers and movers in Chennai. packing is really worst. The person who come for packing are very rude . Literally my 5 - 8 items got broken and no replacement for it. They took one balaji frame of mine, as glass they broke. Since 2 months im doing follow up from them, but did not get my frame back. No manner to speak properly the staff people.

I have recently moved my household goods from Bangalore to Pune - I am really feeling bad that I didn't try to find out from the websites about their service. they are not packers - they should be called a bunch of cheat. Jitesh and his disciple manoj jain are nothing but thieves. they promised that the material will be delivered on the 3rd day, actually they delivered on 7th day at Pune ( just 850 kms). My car reached me after 6 days and they made the car so dirty and damaged inside materials that I was cursing myself after seeing that. The insurance copy was sent by mail after 4 days continuous following - they have a lady in the bangalore office, that talks like a [censored] (might be Jitesh has kept her for his personal use). Manoj jain is a damn - while coming for survey, he will give one quote, actual will be 30% more than that.
Jitesh is a damn liar and all his persons are like that. When I handed over the car, there were 12 litres of petrol, when I received it, it was driven just 67 kms, but I was told that tey have filled 500 rs worth of petrol - The fellow called mahmood steals petrol from the cars - I came to know.
PLEASE NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR HOUSEHOLD MATERIALS TO THEM.

They cheated me in terms of money, initially the amount I was been mentioned with was Rs7000/ they charged Rs 10, 000/ later, in Bangalore, once the goods were delivered in chennai they said they are gonna charge me Rs2000/ more to get it delivered, I refused, and mentioned that I will complait to police, he reduced that for Rs1000/, I did not accept that rate, he reduced it down to Rs500/ and finally delieved it only after giving Rs300/.
The behaviour of the deliver boy was worst, even after doing all those, that delivery boy was asking for tips, they claim in their website as they are professionals, but they are rowdies or goons, some one should take action against them.

2. Their delivery staff at Mumbai comprises of hoodlums and goons, taht the avergae middle class man cannot deal with. They do not know how to to behave. They talk badly. To talk to them, one would feel that he is in some crass hindi movie( think fo the really bad ones showing "goondagiri as it happens in the north" than dealing with employees of a supposedly professional service organisation. They should not be allowed to enter people's homes
3. Inspite of ensuring that the payment is done as billed, they treat the customers like cheats and hold the customer to ransom for delivery fo the customer's own goods.
4. They try and collect more money stating octroi, without receipt, when the papers clearly have a stamp stating octroi not applicable.
5. Jitesh who picks up the phone when you want to book a delivery, refuses to pick up the phone when his staff are misbehaving with teh customer
6. Can you belive they have a website that shows their leadership with a earlier president of the country, but does not have an option of providing feedback. They know they are asking for trouble if that option is provided.
7. If the people runnign this business had to get into any other business e, g : normal retail, they would not survive for long. The only reason they are getting away here is because the customer jsut wants to get his property back from them.

Theirs is the business of a lot of fine print...as they dont discuss any thing upfront...everything is a revelation at the end...e.g : pay every penny before we unload your goods - dont we have suppliers who deliver and then collect... after getting the goods to the desination city...they again demand transportation... their brochure and receipt says door to door - but Mr Jitesh says ' your home to my home to your home" - only he can make sense of what he says... the only reason you pay is to get your belongnings back and close the matter.
9. My advice - it is better to employ a small time local mover and packer, where the service is better even though they may not have the same infra support and brand name, than pay these barbarians. There is no other word to classify them.
