Sbi - Racpc Pune — Irresponsible behaviour

Address:Pune, Maharashtra

HI,
I have taken loan from SBI pune and by far it has been a night mare for me .I have earlier also taken loan from SBI ,bhopal but that was never a problem. But here in pune the staff is so unfriendly and irresponsible .

For starters they will make you visit Bank for silly things over and over .like Interest certificate ,starting a standing order arrangement for your EMI (you wont believe if you ask for debiting it from some other bank ,other than SBI ,they want NOC from the other bank).

Secondly there is nobody who picks the phone there and no one to complain as well. And if you say them this (after visiting the branch) they get angry and will make you apologise or they will not clear you loan .thats the attitudethey have typical sarkari mindset.

I want my interest certificate but nobody has any clue where should i go. whats the point of taking a loan on less interest when i cannot claim tax benefit out of it.they are asking me to go to other branch to collect it.

There staff is arrogant and irresponsible .
The height is i gave them a cheque worth of Rs. 26,042 /- and they lost it .I gave it to a lady named Mrs. Khatokar (who by the way never picks the phone) .I dont know what to do I am stuck with these guys .I suggest who so ever planning to take a loan from SBI ,be ready for great trouble timeahead.

Hi,

I have always heard that its the people who spoils the name of the company and I bet I found one when I liaise with Mrs. Bharati Taywade from SBI - ShankarSeth Road branch, Pune regarding Home Loan who is extremely careless, in-sincere and irresponsible about her job.

She just passes any comment about application's status, disbursement dates etc. and to my experience she never stands by her words or commitments. To her it doesn't matter what customer is going through because of her wrong commitments. I call her complete in-sincere about her job.
She never respond to your calls and gives excuses like she has some internal exams but that doesn't mean one has to take time-out to study during office hours and not attending important calls. She doesnot care to inform what is the status of application or disbursement to customers even after crossing the deadline. HIGHLY UN-PROFESSIONAL.

I would advice not to choose Bharati Taywade from SBI-ShankarSeth Road, Pune branch for any type of banking or loan relationship.
Hi,

The lady you are referring to (Mrs.Khataokar) is the same person i am dealing with in SBI, RACPC and i completely agree with your view. She has all the time in the world to chat with her colleagues but when she turns towards a customer, her facial expression and body language gets negative and she is of no help atall. I had repeated umpteen times that i will not pay pre-EMI and they should deduct full EMI from day one but she never arranged to record it in any system/docoument- the result is that till date (3 months since first amount was disbursed), no ECS has been done and my entire loan amount is outstanding in bank books thus making me liable for paying interest even when I am willing to start my EMIs. As usual, she would either keep her phone disconnected or not take my call at all. It is getting impossible to deal with SBI specially through this lady. She happens to be arrogant, does not share any information and is kind of abusive when customer wants some information as she presumes that home loan is a regular business for us and we should already know everything.

Till date i havent received the introductory kit from bank and i have no clue what is my loan account number. And to my surprise, they have opened my account with Pimpri branch whereas my temporary location and house under consutruction are both in Bawdhan area- nothng seems to be logical about their actions.

Please suggest if anyone here is aware of any escalation matrix and contact numbers in SBI to resolve this matter.
Hi,
I also have a home loan with Pune RACPC and am having issue where the fund is not getting disbursed even after all the paper work.
Earlier I had a issue with SBI Bank where I had not received the PIN for Debit card for more than 2 months.
I had saved all the email corresponence with SBI .There is also a grevience cell ( Email ) whom I had approached, but was not of much use as they just forwarded the compalint to the Branch Manager who again did not act on it.
Finally I approached RBI -Banking Ombudsman and filed a complaint online providing all the details.I also claimed compensation of 25000/- rupees .
Within 2 weeks, I received phone from the Branch Manager convincing me that he is working on the issue and asked me to withdraw the complaint.
He also send me an apology letter and the issue was fixed that week itself.
I asked him who was responsibe for the delay and what action has been taken to make sure it does not repeat in the future.
The Manager then asked the responsibe employee to call and apologies.
I then withdrew the complaint .Now when I visit the branch ..they treat me well on time.
Ofcourse this is not with the RACPC ..but no harm in approaching RBI ...but do communicate with the Grivievance cell ...before u approach RBI..
Hope this helps...
I too agree with you. The SBI people never takes phones of custmer. they don't have any respect for custmer.
The worst ever experience I had with RACPC for every small issue. Also for my final disbursement of loan amount they want the receipt from the builder in advance. Now tell me which builder can give a receipt without having received the payment cheque. To make things worse, they have already debited the final amount to my loan account and I have already paying interest on it.
I very strongly feel that the people at SBI home loan are bribed (right from top to bottom) by other financing institutions for providing such a lousy service or not doing their work. If they provide good service like other private institutions, who would like to go to private banks because the rate of interest is and other service charges and processing fees are attractive here at SBI. Just think about it and you would agree what I am saying
I fully agree with the irresponsible and arrogant behaviour of SBI Pune RACPC 6th floor as well as marketing executives sitting on 4th floor. They(the marketing executives) misguide the customers and when u r in trouble they say the 6th floor deptt has to see it, we are not concerned. The 6th floor people dont pick up the phone at all and if at all they pick up then they talk to us as if they are lords .
I strongly agree that the people in the SBI RACPC Pune are so irresponsible and arrogant. I have taken a home loan from SBI. I have worst experience, they have already debited the final amount to my loan account and charging the interest on it, though the actual amount is not credited to the builders account. They are not picking up the calls. I am really frustetehd of this. We all together have to do something on this. Because there are so many SBI customers having same kind of problems with the SBI staff.
I so much agree with this irresponsible attitude of the SBI RACPC Pune Branch. They have the least respect for the customers. Nobody replies to the phone, nobody answers the emails. Even if you call the personal mobile numbers, it will say that all the incoming calls are barred on this number. For mails, they check the mail at leisure, like its a recreation thing. Once in a month ! Its sad in today's world, where everythign is just a mail/ph-call away.
Everytime you need to go and visit the branch for a stupid inquiry. At the branch, people are transferred like 100 times. So you have no idea, which person is handling your loan project. You finally get some one to talk to you, and that person behaves as if he/she is doing a favour by replying, and as if we are asking some very obvious and stupid questions.
I dont know, how this bank can become the lardest banker in India, which such an uncaring attitude.
I am also one of you guys. My nightmare has not yet started, but the things seems to be in place for its beginning. because I have also got my loan agreement done throught this lady Mrs. Khataokar. Well the things were gone pretty smooth, reason being the lady herself was not taken this call and some other trainee was there to get my agreement done. That trainee girl was pretty helpful and informative. as per my memory, here name was Neha. She answered all my queries and as Mr. Tanujk was concerned to pay full EMI and not the Pre-EMI, I made it clear to her many of times and finally she shown me the document where it was mentioned that my EMI would start as per my wish.
Why I said that the things are in place for the nightmare is, I have recently submitted a DL, about a week ago and I have got no clue of its status. I am trying to call this guy named Mr. Suresh Babu who particularly deals with this thing and he is as usual not picking the phone. Really its out of my understanding that in this competitive age these SBI people are still having that old attitude of "Babuism". Just to add here as somebody has mentioned about his home loan branch. I live in Kalyani nagar and home loan branch I got is VADGAON. Actually i was happy about this branch as I was assuming that it is Vadgaonsheri, but its not that. This VADGAON branch is almost 25kms from my place, i would need to cross the whole city to reach their. These SBI people dont even bother to ask customer about their comfortability. I have not yet received the intoductory kit from the bank.
I also have same type of experience with RACP SBI.
Specially when you go for submittting the demand letter, the SBI guy dose not accept the letter before 10.30am by saying bank timing is 10.30am onward.
if we do hurry for submitting that demand lettre as we need to go to office, SBI guy will talk arrogantley & ask you to take leave from the office just for submitting demand letter.
over&above this he even dose not give the deamnd letter form so that you can fill it in the mean time & submit after 10.30am.
i think SBI staff should change their attitude toward customer.
for one of my friend who is trying to get loan for last 2 month, after lot of follow up he got the reply that SBI has lost his document file & cheque and he need to submitt everthing again.
we can not expect such irresponsile behavior from financial organisation.
My experience so far has been decent with the branch.
I have read about starting EMI before possession of the property in the posts above.

Can anybody please guide me regarding the same? I want to start my EMI immediately after part disbursal. Please let me know processes, documentation for the same.
I have got decent and good experience from SBI RACPC section as well as SBI Aundh Branch while processing my housing loan. But still there is somewhat communication gap between RACPC and Aundh Branch. There are some persons who are not giving proper answer, but if you manage with your communication skill then you will get the output very fast. I got the sanction letter and disbursement within 1 month. I think it is good other than other bank. Also Interest rates and other charges like processing fee, mortgage, valuation, verification etc. are very low compare to other bank. I have another home loan from BOM and they are charging me 11.20% interest.
I agree, there is no response on email and phone from SBI RACPC Pune staff. After submitting request for subsequent disbursement, they take long time generally 2-3 week to disburse Cheque to builder. To follow up the issue, you have to visit the branch, as there is no channel of email or phone communication.
I suggest to do not take loan from SBI Pune if dont have time to visit branch every week.
Its like begging loan from them. You will be frustrated not excited even though if you purchasing ready possession Home.
I have given written complaint to GM of Sanctioning department but they dont take care of it.
Still it is not improved, nobody replying on phone & noone replying on email inspite multiple reminders.

Are they illitrate, as they are not at all understanding urgency or criticality of problem & outstation candates are suffering contact them ...
I am exhausted after completing all formalities and getting the loan sanctioned I am still chasing them to get an update on the disbursement date.

It took me over a month to get the loan sanctioned even though I pro-actively helped them in expediting the procedure with the help of some internal sources. I was told by the employee herself that I should consider myself fortunate to have the loan sanctioned in a month's time when the usual sanction period is about two.

I decided to go with SBI following the suggestions made by a friend and their claims to be the cheapest in the market however when I look at it now it does not make much of a difference even if I had taken the loan with a competitor. At least I would have had the peace of mind.
Avoid SBI RACPC if possible avoid SBI completely. I applied for home loan in Sept-OCt 2012. After running from post to pillar with my 63 yrs old father for their queries and their clarifications, got legal papers changed so that their whimsical house-attorney gets satisfied (cost us 25K to get new papers done), met their AGM, Chief manager. But still after 9 - 10 mths there was no response whatsoever. Each time you call up the marketing executive, you call go unanswered. SMS same treatment, email same thing again. Call higher authorities, atleast the calls get answered but reply - it would be done in a couple of days, its almost done. Eventually took 2 months and further information that another public sector bank was ready with sanction letter, when they finally came up with sanction sms.
But the story doesnt end here. The sanctioned loan is way low (almost 30% lower) than what was calculated at the start of the process. If this amount was given at the 1st instance, we would have saved 9- 10 mths of haggling and struggling with the pathetic staff at SBI RACPC. Have rejected the loan sanction from SBI, got it done with BOI in 3 weeks. Have filled a complaint on SBI website. Lets see where it takes me. Will inform about it further too for other's benefit.
Marketing executive Ms Bharati Taywade.
We were direct customers of the bank. People who went through the banks agents (doesn't cost the customer a penny, the bank pays them) got their loans sanctioned very quickly.
haha..so I am in the same situation. I have sent the request for subsequent disbursement over email few weeks ago, Builder's payment due date is tomorrow. There is no update. No one picking phone, no reply to emails. I am not in Pune. Now when I read the comments on this page, I just APPLAUD SBI RACPC for being so consistent. They are so consistent in being A$$HOLES!
RACPC pune has been a nightmare for me since I approached them for the home loan. I was so foolish to approach this pathetic bank.
These people are so greedy, disorganised and useless that they keep you harassing for their useless term life insurance or else the superior won't sanction the loan. Finally I was able to convince them that I would pay the premium later. Once when we decided to start EMI as per our wish they keep on insisting for pre-EMI (bull ). In the mean while they keep on debiting interest for the regular disbursements to the builder which I was told that the debiting of interest will stop once you start your regular EMI. And after 3 months of starting EMI these people have debited total 36000/- interest amount along with the regular EMI. I feel like I am in a deep .

THE TIME NOT FAR WHEN NOT ONLY FARMERS, BUT MIDDLE CLASS MEN WILL COMMIT SUICIDE BECAUSE OF NON REPAY MENT OF LOAN AND ITS HUGE INTEREST.
