This is to bring to your kind notice that I have booked the ticket from hyderabad to mumbai on internet vide PNR no. [protected] and I have produced xerox copy of my pan card as id proof to TTE. I was not aware that original is required. I have intentionally not kept the original with me thinking that the same could be lost while travelling. I have also not read the instructions mentioned on the eticket which is my mistake.
I am a lady and was travelling with my small kid, i also requested that pan card copy is of my own and original has not kept. Inspite of my request TTE has imposed penalty for non production of original pan card as id proof. I think this is not fair. You have to look into this aspect and revised the rules.
I can even now produce the original pan card. You should atleast see the person travelling. Many passenger will travel without tickets daily and no actions are taken on them. What harm we have done by booking a ticket on internet. Atleast on humaritarian ground TTE would have considered my request and accepted my plea.
I hopeful of you looking into this matter seriously and take decision and review your rules. This is the era of ecommerce and appreciate the booking of tickets online but not this kind of harrassments.
