[Resolved]  SF SONIC — POOR QUALITY/SERVICE

Dear Sir,

This has reference to the DIN44 SF Sonic Turbo battery which I had given to M/s.Mugappair Automobiles, Chennai (Ph.[protected] on 4/4/10. Till date there is no response on the returned battery from your company or dealer. This battery had life of just of 27 months and within warranty period of 2 years, the dealer had charged it twice and said ok. Just after the warranty period, the delaer is telling that one of the cells has failed?! The dealer is asking Rs.100/day for service battery. I think this is a good business of cheating customers by delaying the pro-rata battery. I understand from customer forums that this battery has low life and hence your company has developed new range of Super-sonic batteries. Why are you doing R&D and field trials on customer vehicles??!! The dealer says no stock for even for new sale. Please resolve this immediately or arrange for service battery (free of cost). It is more than 10 days and I am going to take up this poor service with consumer forum. I will never buy a SONIC battery again and will pass on this message in our office website too. Looking forward for your immediate response.
