[Resolved]  Shushrusha Hospital, Dadar — Non refund of Deposit Amount

My brother was admitted in Shushrusha Hospital Dadar on 14th november 2010 in ICU. Doctors advised us to operate him immediately. We have to arrange Rs. 30,000/- as Bank was closed and we are very far away form our residence. But in emergency we arranged the deposit amount other money for operation. OK everything well done.

After day or two my brother was discharged from the Hospital, at the time of discharge our floor Nurse send the paper to Accounts dept for finalisation of bill. Everything was finished neary by 5 O'clock. When me and my Bhabhi went to the Counter to collect bills the Accounts clerk told us that you have some deposit balance, you collect the balance amount Rs. 8,000/- from Tuesday to Saturday at 12 to 4 PM. We requested him that no one is at home to come all the way from Dahisar to Dadar and on this time. He asked us to speak to Ms Meena Madam who is incharge of Accounts.

She spokes with us very rudely, we request her also that please pay us if any money balance from ourside did you are given us a discharge no na??? then please pay us cause my brother has a small child at home and myself also staying far away from how her wife arrange to collect the money from your hospital. we requested her a lot. she puts the shutter down and left us as a begger, eventhough we paid Rs. 30,000/- as a full cash. She told go wherever you wants to go. I am not paying you right now.


This is the facility Hospitals are giving to the Patient's relatives. we are really with such things. Shushrusha is one of the best Hospital in Mumbai and see the Management.
