[Resolved]  Sites N Stores — steal money

Totally agree - we had the misfortune to get involved with these "web site specialists" - bunch of cowboys who are clearly experts in the business of ripping people off. AVOID SITES N STORES AT ALL COSTS!!!

couldn't agree more. they have no idea about customer service after they have your money. Do not use these people to host or build your website. They are useless. I know I have made the mistake of doing this and it has been a big mistake. The best thing I can do is tell others. Have to get my site rebuilt and hosted by someone else.

This company has taken money from my account unauthorised on two occassions.The website I had done was good, but once you give them direct debit details, they take funds randomly without your consent. Currently in process of taking this matter further. The first time it happenned I allowed for human error, but this second time its a much larger amount than the first. I have emailed twice and called by phone in 48 hrs to no answer. Hoping ti hear soon and resolve the issue.

Has anyone else had this issue.?

Absolute joke!!! Issue you a template for your web page which still had spanish text though it. Our changes that we'd request for our pages were never met. They issue you what they call revisions and hope that you'll just say "bugger it" and except what they've issue you.

THESE PEOPLE ARE USELESS!!

Have ben trying for months to get our website built. They promise revisions but they are partly done & not properly or never done. Do not use them they are so inefficient. They just don't provide what you want.

Well Steve, that's nice to hear, but talk is cheap. I have a site by you guys, with nothing but problems. I'm losing customer after customer. I have sent emails which go unanswered, going back a month. All you guys do is feed me a whole heap of . I wish to god i never got involved with sites n store, they make all the promises in the world and never deliver.

Can anybody in this forum let me know what i need to do to move the existing site to a new provider.

I only wish i saw all the forums that are on the web before i gave sites n store my hard earned cash.

Totally frightening company!!! I do not even know where to start with the substandard templated designs - all I can say is that I was completely taken in by a well versed sales team. I have bought every conceivable add on going and have the most unprofessional non operating site. Over a month to get cut and paste that a child would have produced better as forgotten content - missed instructions - continual requests for the same thing and on it goes to the point where you think ok then I will do it myself - pay the last 10% and to format, include content and fix a horrid mess. The disappointment is beyond comprehension.

Does anyone have any idea as to where complaints can be registered so as company like this are put out of business?

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS - TRUST ME IT WILL COST.

Don't use this company all they bring is heart ache they don't have professional customer service representatives. Their staff don't listen to what you want and my experience has been repeating over and over what I want for the site. They say they will change and fix things but they don't and of course they don't refund your money even if the service they offer is not at all what they produce. Your client manager has no communication skills with the developers and they take such a long time to get your site online, but are happy to hassle you via email and text to respond to their changes. They can't even copy and paste the information you send them even when you take the time to repeat yourself and even draw diagrams. Do not use this company they waste your money and time.

I have had the misfortune of dealing with this company and am about to refer to the Department of Fair Trading. They have been happy to take my money and once its taken all 'customer service' comes to a screeching halt. STEER WELL CLEAR. Anyone interested in a class action???

Awful company, good at selling, bad at delivering. I pulled out halfway through as listened to my gut feeling. Read their terms and conditions carefully as there is not satisfaction guarantee and you wont get your money back if you aren't happy with them! I pulled out after a week as it was a too painful and frustrating process with communication from client manager to designer. I was not happy with the crappy 'screenshot' design template, it was total crap! I lost my 50% deposit, but kept my sanity!

Thanks for thumbs up guys I had someone contact me from sites n stores asking when I am ready to proceed, was quoted $1760 for site and $40 a month for tech support services, I think not!! Not now had a funny uneasy feeling with this company and now know why, I think you all should do a class action and go to ombudsman to get these ripp off , money is valuable to me and cannot afford to be stung, thanks everyone will not be doing business with these people

Another very unhappy customer who was stupid enough to give them a second chance on the back of many apologies and promises.
Am interested in taking a class action to put this company out of business once and for all.

I have been using sites n stores for a couple of years and it has been the biggest mistake i have ever made. All i can do is stop people from making the same mistake. under no circumstances no matter how good the sales person is. DONT use this company I have suffered years and thousands and thousands of dollars in losses. They are liars and they are thieves. Do NOT trust a word they say. If only consumer affairs would finaly do something about them.

My site never worked. Any problems always seemed to end up as my problem. Sales bloke sold me one thing, developers sold me another and I could not get a fair deal from the boss. Chris ([protected]@gmail.com)

My suggestion with this company is to STAY AWAY!!! This has got to be the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. You will pay your money and you get NOTHING back for it. No assistance, no return messages, no calls, no correspondence...nothing!!! You can't even speak to anyone - you have to leave a message with their call centre (ALL THE TIME!!!) Even when you use the PPC marketing and want to grow your business - this is meant to be a managed compaign. Trust us, they take your money and that is the end of it. We never had contact once we paid. Still to this day we do not know what we paid for, no reporting was issued, no updates on how the campaign was tracking etc.

This company is a disgrace.

If there were stars into the negative I would consider to give them a minus thousand the worst company we have ever dealt with please make sure you read all the forums regarding these guys, I think these guys lie even when they pray.dont say you havent been warned

Be very weary of this company wish fair trading could get hold of the owners of this company I actually went onto google after our experience with these guys to make sure they not list under the so called Nigerian Black Book of Scams
