Sony Ericsson/W810i — Denial of Service after Sales within Warranty period

I have purchased one W810i handset on[protected] from local authorised dealer which is still under warranty of one year.
There is some problem in my set like Hanging, Cracking Sound, Earpiece Problem and Volume key problem for that I have taken it to their local authorised service provider "Salora International Ltd., Bhubaneswar" on[protected].
They have checked it and declared that it is liquid damage case so we don't provide any warranty service to this set and it is out of warranty also.
As my set is working properly except some problems that I have mentioned.
If there is a liquid damage then set won't work at all and there is no such liquid damage there is some manufacturing fault right from the begining.
Then I have complained this to company also over their tollfree no. but they replied the same then I have logged this through email(Ref. No.[protected] but did not receive any response still now.
It is company policy to cheat customer by declaring these excuses.
I want my set to be replaced immediately.
Pls. do the needful in this regard so that customer can't be cheated anymore by company like sony ericsson.
Also using the same cell w810i ya its giving lots of problem with the hands free charging and catching network signal and customers service centre at Thane providing very poor sevice..

Sony Ericsson W810i — Problem within warranty

I bought a Sony Ericsson Mobile Phone (W810i) on 14th Feb 2007 from Sheetal Mobile in Vashi. The warranty on the instrument is for one year and hence applicable up to 14th Feb 2008. This instrument was being used after its purchase and after some time was giving problems in charging and catching network signal. We took it to the authorized service centre at Vashi and they said that it was liquid damage. For a second opinion we took it to the authorized service centre at Thane and after retaining the instrument for a few days they said it was liquid damage and not covered under warranty. We would have to pay for the repairs. However, neither of them showed us the liquid damage. We got the so called repairs done and then whilst using it, we were losing the networ signal and also the instrument was not getting any signal even though other instruments like Nokia were giving a full signal at the same location.

One again, we gave it to the service centre at Thane and they mentioned that it was liquid damage and nothing could be done with the instrument and we ought to take it back. Once I was told to take it back, I complained to the Sony Ericsson service through their website and after exchange of few phone calls and e-mails, they too have told me to collect the phone as nothing can be done.

Since the phone has given problems within the warrantly period and no one has clearly shown us the damage. Secondly, since we have paid for the so called liquid damage and the instrument is not perfomring to its standards, even after repairs, Sony Ericsson should give us a replacement for the instrument as it could have been damaged right from the beginning.

If Sony Ericsson does not clarify these aspects to their customers then they should stop giving crap about customer satisfaction. Also they should provide customers with the numbers of their higher ups with whom this can be taken up.
i bought sony ericsson w810i on 15th apr 2007, waaranty period is till 15th apr 2008. and yesterday while i transfered some files and sounds to my computer as usual, then i removed the usb chord with removing the hardware icon by clicking it as we are supposed to do.. after this usually mobile will change itself to normal mode from file transfer mode. it has not happened. it started blinking with white light forever. mobile did not get switched on. i took my mobile to service centre today(28/3/08), but they showed me that damaged board due to water inside. and they gonna replace it on chargeable basis only, warranty has nothing to do with this. am really worried about that while we think of what warranty is about.? but at the same time i wish my mobile should work as usual without any problems in future after this service. thats important i feel.

Sony Ericsson/Cell w810i — Cell Problem

I have bought a cell W810i from "The Mobile Store" on dated[protected]. From[protected] i am facing problem. The microphone is not working. I am able to hear others voice but others(at other end)are not able to hear mine. I have given set for repair to near customer care. They told me that there is liquid damage. But its not possible as i am using the cell. I have never taken or dipped into the water.They are charging me for this for which i am not ready.There is problem with either sony service centre or sony franchisee. Why will i bear for the same?
