In this connection I would like to bring to your kind attention that as on today I have not utilized the above-referred credit card for any purchases or cash withdrawal. It may also please be noted that I have paid the premiums of the above policies through cheque, the details of which are given below. No Bank Cheque No. Date Amount 1. Bank of India 10612 27/03/2008 Rs. 5596.19 2. Bank of India 10617 24/04/2008 Rs. 4881.26 3. Bank of India 105232 26.05.2008 Rs. 16.00 4. Bank of India 217108 02/07/2008 Rs. 13.48 Total Rs. 10506.93 Till last month your statements were showing a credit balance of Rs. 7979.27 in my favor (a copy of which is enclosed herewith for your ready reference). Subsequently I received an SMS from your end stating that the amount will be adjusted against whatever purchases I make through the above referred credit card. I am now quite surprised to receive an SMS from your end saying that I only had a credit balance of Rs. 149.27. I therefore, request you to kindly look into this matter and arrange to refund the full premium amount of Rs. 10, 506.93 with immediate effect. As I am an aged person in the verge of retirement, I don’t want to endure these unnecessary hassles and mental agony. I am also surrendering herewith my credit card No. [protected].
