[Resolved] State Bank of India — Reject loan from PPF

Sir, i have a PPF account with State Bank Of India's Ratlam M.P.(Main)Branch, after 3-4 years of account opening, i was in need of some money, i contect to My SBI Branch for loan from my PPF account, but i got a shock when concern officials told me that thay dont know any rule about loan from PPF & one Officer of that branch Mr Desai clearly told me that if you want to write or want to complaint to any body you can write. how can thay say that they dont Know abot the rule & talk to customers like that? is it SBI's customers friendly policy or what? hope SBI 's top officials will look in to the matter . Loans

Loan upto 25% of balance at the end of first financial year from third to sixth year. Second loan can be taken on full payment of first loan.

You can claim loan as per the rule. And bank is responsible to have it to you.

ITS A SHOCK. IT SHOWS HOW THESE GOVT BACKED BANKS ARE OPERATED.THEY EXISTS ONLY BECAUSE THEY HAVING GOVT FACILITATION.OFFICIALS ARE COMPLETELY IGNORANT AND HAVE NO SUCH PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY.SHOULDN'T THEY BE REPLACED WITH QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS AND YOUNG TALENTS ???
