I had tried to order a sofa set from Sunrise International through their ebay listing 5 months back. The listing stated that they had closed on ebay. I therefore contacted them directly to their company website. They replied telling me to select the item from their catalog, along with the code number and any specifications, which i did the same day itself. After that there was no reply whatsoever. Emails were unanswered. Phone calls were either unanswered or cut off. I wanted the sofa set desparatly for my new home and rejected all other offers since Sunrise had promised me door delivery in their email. I waited for 4 months, with no reply. One time, Mr.Jetain Agarwal, the proprietor, answered, and i told him to pls check his emails and revert at the earliest. Still there was no reply. Finally, out of frustration, i sent him a msg asking to inform me if he was not interested in the transaction so that i could order elsewhere without wasting my time. To this, all of a sudden he replied, saying he was not interested and said he had closed all work in India and said, was it not self-explanatory"?? If he was not interested, couldnt he have informed me at the outset itself? And then if he had closed his work, why didnt he tell me that in his email instead of telling me to place an order? I wouldnt have wasted my time like that. On questioning him, to my utter shock, he sent me several abusive msgs, mocking me and saying that i enjoyed wasting my time!! Now this is too much. If he had just said it was a misunderstanding and had apologised for the inconvenience, I would have let the matter go. But in addition to wasting 4 months of my time, he actually had the nerve to insult me!! Please take this issue into account so that no customer has to endure what I had to.
