i have purchased viewing times of india of 17th april 2009, spy camera pen, it was mentioned sunglass worth rs. 1500 will be free along with it. however till today i have not received the sunglass worth rs.1500. i made the payment through card and i received the material very next day.

I do agree with these kind of complaints, Since I do have complaints. 1. I've ordered Watch set of 4 N0s, I do received 4nos but found one chrono type watch which was really fake machine that too not working. 2. This time I've ordered for a mp3 player, on that I've got the same without charger and the cells was working ony for a few minutes. 3. Again on their customer care people satifacorily reply I got ordered one NAZAR SURAHSHA KAVCH but found to be fake.

I do really wonder how these kind of things happen in such a kind of reputed NEWSPAPER, afterall these ADS are generated by them for Public worth wishes.

What about the quality of the goods offered and will it be possible to give a demonstration of the product and who will be the garenter of the product legely.

This is unbecoming of a reputed news paper organisation. How come they have not been able to ensure quality and quantity of the products, for which they advertised and received payment? The worst part is that even after repeated complaints, they do not appear to have set right the pobe sition. The matter should be referred to the Consumers Forum if the matter has not yet been resolved to the satisfaction of the customer. These views may please be conveyed to the supplying agency.

Hi All, how about now?? Did TOI changed the product quality ?? becuase till there are so many Ads running in the news paper. More ever I've plan to plan buy Sony Ericcson Vivaz which is came on 19Aug 2011 readers.. Any Suggestions?? It will help me a lot to take a decision whthere to pruchase or not from TOI reader offer.

I ordered a sewing machine and food processor. Both failed at first use. Placed a complaint with Times of India. They promised to replace...no action taken. Sent escalation mail. Still no response.

Its time to realize that TOI is polluting our country with cheap China goods (both the products I ordered were made in a village of china). This is affecting our Indian industries. Their after sales support and response is zero. Also realize that all you have is a call center number and a mail id...there is nothing you can do to take penal action on them.

I am Yashwanth working in Biocon ltd, hosur road, Bangalore. last week of October 2012, I have ordered Onida-G133 Buy 1 get 1 offer mobile wit order number [protected].I received only one mobile in the courier pack where another mobile box was empty on 5th November 2012.
The same I have complained through customer complaint 6th November 2012 with complaint number 493193.
Please take this complaint seriously and send the left out mobile as soon as possible.

I bought this product, it got rusted after the first use. I contacted customer service to arrange a pick up...they promised that someone from the concerned team will call for a pick up, but no one call. When contacted, they claimed that, Mr. Alok and Mr. Chandrabhan, tried to call but the number given was switched off, no reachable and so forth, which to me is a 'BIG LIE". The phone number given was always available and was never switched off. I can't imagine how could a company runs lying to its customer. Now, they said they cannot do anything and its their policy. Hell with the Policy! I contacted them within 15 days to return the item. They never fulfill their promise and, now, they are talking about their policy.
Also, they will not allow to speak with a Supervisor..."supervisor busy with another call" as well as they will not arrange a call back.

The TImes of India — newspaper not delivered

past of one month the news paper not issued, even after i made complaint phonecalls reg the nondelivery there no result and information over the complaint.what the news agencies only advisers to other than them.i will trust toi if there is any responce through this mail.

Not receiving news paper from one month
I have subscribed for TOI newpaper as on 10th JAN 09, which is due for implementation from 16th Jan 09.
Till date (09-Feb-09) we have not received the news paper. We have called up the TOI Office / Agent and complained about the issue multiple times, but none responded to the issue. This is quiet disguisting and loosing faith in the TOI Management as this is the most common problem faced by every one who subscribe to this 6 month renewal policy. Request the concerned authorities to take stern action against the responsible and get the issue resolved.

Wrost Customer Service at Hdfc Bank Credit Cards Hyderabad - I am one of the extermely dispointed customer of HDFC Bank Credit Cards Hyderabad.

I had to pay rs:4600 for not doing a transcation at HDFC BANK... I had been calling bank since last 6 months asking for clarification on the dispute transcation.. they never give me clarifcaiton or explained the procedure to raise the dispute..

Now they came back stating that their records do not indicate receipt of any written communication from you seeking clarification on the above charges.

Classical example of Wrost Customer service and also very nice way to cheat customers.

I have been calling to call center from 2008 asking for clarification on outstanding, nobody told us anything about dispute process. I have learnt from Swathi now that I will have to raise a dispute for the transaction in 2008 itself.



It is not my mistake if you guys don’t tell me the right information when I have called earlier.



a) She said that the disputed amount can’t be revised back and I will have to make the payment even if I have not done the transaction. This is ridiculous to expect payment on transaction not done by customer.



I have already stated that I have erroneously made the payment of rs: 4000 on this card.



If RBI says customers are liable for payment even though they don’t do transaction then I can only comprise to pay rs: 2000 (transaction debit) on this card and would want all the other charges to be revised and wants the credit of rs: 2000 immediately back from the rs: 4000 payment made by me on the card.



And please don’t give me any contacts numbers …… I am frustrated with your contact services.



If you want I can talk to someone in person because it seems in HDFC bank on Telephone nobody wants to take the ownership to resolve the customer issue rather just want to escape from it …….



If I talk to someone in personnel, I will know with whom I have spoken and I can catch him/her if things are not done.

1) I have not done any trascation on this card but i am been debited with full charges

2) Called up 50- 60 times to[protected] to know the information and they have give the below answers

a) System is down at this point, will call you back tomorrow

b) Don't have any information about you right know in our systems, will ask the manager to call you back tomorrow

c) we don't have access to your accout details, will ask the concerned department manager to call you back tomorrow

so on...

3) though we have not done any transaction, we have paid 4000rs errounously to hdfc bank(My mother made this payment)

4)Some Names i Remember are Seema, Deepti, Vikram, Sai rupendra, Latha subramaian and so on... it seems like none likes to take the ownership to resolve the issue... but standard reponse - will call you back..



couple of weeks back Sai Rupendra called me and told that some brand factory debit on my card but i have not done that transcation.. while i was communicating this to him.. call got disconnected .. i tried reaching him again but he was never available to speak.. on the same day i happen to speak with latha .. she said no information available will call you back.



couple of times i fainted becuase of this frustration.



i have never done any transaction and want the detailed explanation of the above and i will not pay anymore.



also, let me know the ombusman email id, i would like to escalate this issue to them as well.

Personal — Not receiving Newspaper in spite of subscription

I have subscribed to DNA in Bangalore and for the last 15 days not receiving the paper.Previously also, it was irregular.Not sure whom to contact.My customer booklet number is 99867.Their numbers are not contactable and their email address is of no use.

Only Blore, hyd apart from metros are visible. It was nice reading Pune paper...

I absolutely agree. Even my work for benchmarking has been affected due to the absence of the TOI epaper in Ahmedabad and Jaipur. I have tried calling them. Once they said that it was a technical problem which will be rectified in two three weeks, but now when i call them, they refuse to answer. I dont know under what circumstances their paper is called Number one honestly to tell you the truth

Three months from now ! The epaper is not available for the metro cities like Pune.Lucknow, Ahmedabad &some other cities.This is the condition of TOI media.On what basis they are calling it the no. 1 english daily.

I am regular reader of Times of india and Economic times here in KOLHAPUR Maharastra.but from last two months i am not getting Monday suppliment of economic tmes. Eighteen pages are written and i get

I have been in Chennai for the past 2.5 years and have been able to access TOI Pune edition and enjoyed reading the news and folks at Pune were getting physical copies. In this way I was knowing happenings in Pune.However for the past 20 days I am not able to access it. If there is problem or the site has been discontinued TOI should inform or message should be flashed that it not available for free like in Hindu -epaper is available only with subscription. We then can take our decision.

persons who cause trouble should be punished by police, court, even compensation should be given to suffered person alas!it can"t happen in india because its gandhi ji desh evrybdy is habitual of bearing problems

I am staying in Shipra Suncity built flat. We have been facing severe water seepage problem for the last one and half years. One of our room's wall is totally damaged even our tiles come out from floor Now water is dropping to our AC fitting wall This problem is weakening the structure of the flat. We have already talked to the President of RWA.He came to our house and see all structure and went to Owner of the above flat from where the seepage is coming. The person is not ready to talk to us and when last week our RWA President visited his house he didn't came out and pretendthat nobody is in the house. When we met him he was shouting on me and used loose words.This bad stucture feeling is giving mental agony and depression to me and to my family.My child at home facing too much congestion due to dust particles from this seepage.And we have avoid to use that room.

I have subscribed the Times of India for 6 months. Recently I have changed my residence to nearby location lesser than a quarter kilometer. From then its trouble receiving paper. One of your RRE’s Mr. Nishanth (RRE code R02009 Mob No: [protected]) had come to my door on 1st Apr 2011 with a special offer to subscribe Times Of India Dhamaka Offer. Order No: 21o517, Sunday Times Dhamaka Offer. Order No: 207936, I agree to the terms & paid him by cheque (chq no:074842 dt:04/01/11 DCBank). Mr. Nishanth promised me that my subscription would start on 8th Apr 2011.

On 8th Apr 2011, I did not receive my subscription. So, I advice people over here not to believe in such offers...

I am really very unhappy with the horrible customer service provided to me by The Times of India. I either want my issue to be resolved or I need to cancel my subscription. Such incompetence is unacceptable.

strict action should be taken by TOI against such blunders. As the reputation of such elegent esteemed daily is being hampered by probably the local distributers.

I have asked for subscription over phone but till date there was no response and the person who spoke told they will issue the paper from 1st december but nothing has hapened so far.Poor

I agree, same thing is happened to me three years back. When I changed the house they stopped the paper, and even the paper has never been regular, all sundays they dont give the paper.

It is becoming a common practise now a days. In most cases, the TOI complaints office / Agent would never pick-up the phone. Out of fortune, if we get connected, there is no prompt response from the TOI office and no one to ensure that this issue is fixed. I subscribed for this offer on 18th Nov and the implementation is supposed to start from 1st Jan 09. I have lost one month and I haven't received paper till date (01 Feb). Its quiet disgusting.

I strongly agree, Times of India is out of times.
I am staying in the same address for the last 3 years.
I used to get newpaper regularly till I subscribe to the 6 months scheme.
After that, TOI local agent is not supplying properl. When we contact them, he says, he is not getting money from TOI.When we contacted TOI several times over phone, they say that I would receive from the next day. I doubt what definition TOI have in their dictionary for Next day.

I had the same experience with The Times of India Newspaper service. After i subscribed to 6mths scheme, i recieved the newspaper for only one month, after which the hawker told me that your subscription is over. When i asked their office, he said that no one will listen or pickup phone at agency.
I have the bills with me, which says i am entitled to get the newpapers every day till June 2009.
Now if someone is reading these complaints from complaints department, can i know how to proceed in this case? and who is going to provide justice to above all the consumers complaints? as early as possible.

I have been subscribing for this paper under the "Times of India - Dhamaka offer" for more two years and renewed it last November. I am not getting the paper since the first of this month (February 2009). After 19 days, 6 phone calls and 4 assurances I am still waiting for my paper. If they can't continue the offer the least they can do is admit it.

I have tried to use the feedback form on the indiatimes portal but none of the messages get delivered.

I subscribed for TOI on dated[protected] vide payment receipt no. 73659 and 73569 both dated[protected]. It was assured by the representative that paper deliveru will start on[protected]. Since than I am trying on every possible number which is given to me. But I am not having any concrete answer.

I continued to receive the phone numbers but not the news paper. Is this the kind of service which TOI is supposed to give. It's not the matter of Rs. 160/- but the matter of principle. Hope the authorities of TOI will take a serious note of It.

I too faced same isseu with TOI. I have taken yearly subscription of TOI, and then i moved to the new place, i informed about the same, in TOi office in hyderabad many times, but didnt receive the paper at new place. To get the paper at new palce i atleast logged the complaint atleast 10-12 times.

After that i used to receive the paper for 2-3 days, and again the same old story used to repeate, am frustated with TOI and their agents!!!

The service is really poor!! TOI should take care of this issue.

Complaint no-177653 on 22.04.09 & 175232 on 17.04.09 Always thay are saying our people will call still i have not recieved paper from last 25 days. Hell with TOI subscription. It is etter to go with Deccan Chronicle or Hindu. I agree with most of the comments stated above. I paid for times dhamaka offer on 28 march 09 fir six months. The implementation was to commence wef 16 apr 09. I received the paper for about 15 days in may 09 after persuing the matter with TOI office several times. The paper was discontinued once again in june 09. No response fromTOI office. The distributer says that he is not receiving the free paper for distribution as well as monthly record from the office. The result is the customer goes without paper. Finally I had to request the distributer to supply another paper on payment. There seems to be great misunderstanding between the office and distributer that the management is not able to resolve.

I really agree with such incidents especially with all news papers, really am disgusting with the situation now with the TOI 6 months program, I paid money on Aug-06th-2009 and he assured to get the paper from Aug15th-2009, today September 11th but I haven't collected Single copy, I called to the office for 3 times till now and called that Area Agent for 10 times, just 3 times he picked the call and said will come there in 20 mins but he did not get his 20mins in last 20days, when I called to office they will give agent number to contact/after explaining the situation they will say some cooling statements but never take the proper action.

Hi,

Customer code 200355, where the service was pathetic. The paper was never delivered before 10am... and at times not even delivered. I called the Times office several times and asked them to stop the newspaper delivery due to very bad service, and was told once the subscription amount is exhausted the delivery will be stopped. However, now the delivery boy is demanding money for the past few months of paper delivered. I was under the impression that the paper is delivered for the several complaints raised.. as a service gesture.. However, this is not the case as realised now. The boy never comes when we are at home, at times, had to ask the watchman to know if the boy had come as there is no trace of the paper.
No one at the Times office respond to the phone calls made.. 23355335, this is one of the worst of the kind of service one can expect for a newspaper of such stature.
Hope the people at Times would be sensible enough and act to atleast reduce the complaints..

I see that this is a common complaint that TOI stops subscription when someone moves into a new locality.

I subscribed for 6 month TOI in January this year. After moving to Ayappa Society from Secunderabad i asked the office to provide paper to the new address. After 15 days and plenty of reminders to their office as well local executive and local vendor no body has responded to my problem. I too was told that TOI has not made payment to vendor and as such i was not getting my papers. Inspite of repeated complaints i have not got my paper. The way i see it from the previus complaints written here that my money is gone and i wont get my papers.

I think the Times of India areas sales executive is playing hand in glove game with the local distributer to cheat the customers of Times of India. We should take up the matter with their top management as a group. I am facing the following problem with TOI and their agents.

Times of India & Economic Times (group paper) print on the front page if these papers are bought together, the customer will get 30% discount. but the local distributer is denying this concession and demands full charges for both papers, saying TOI is not giving this discount.

I would like to take up these matters with TOI higher-ups, through email and phone campaigns. I feel group campaign yields better results for all o[censored]s.

I request those who are being cheated by TOI / their agents in Hyderabad, specifically in Madhapur area, to send me an email, contact number, and the issue they are facing. I would like to include their issues as well and take it up with TOI Hyderabad.

I have paid for yearly subscription of The Times Of India. I still enjoy the privilege of three and a half month but they stopped giving the Newspaper . I am entitled to receive speaking tree but i have not received a single copy!!!

I opted for offer yesterday via executive after speaking to my current delivery man (As per him he dnt have offer) and hence I stoped my current paper and went with TOI offer for 6 month. This is to bring to your notice that i had booked the times twenty news paper in the month of Jan 2012.And my vender started to put in the paper and stopped the supply after one month.when i went to ask why? he said the agent has not given me the coupon though the cheque was cleared on 31/01/2012.(chq no 743548 name Bennet coleman and co) Then i asked for the agents no and he gave me the no [protected] Sachin and i called this person first time he said that he ill start the supply but he did not start.several time i have called him and this way the time just passed (more than three and half month) recently i spoke to him he is saying to give him a cheque again and he ill return the money and start the supply and i asked him why to give the cheque when i have already given the money.Then he started to abuse me with bad words and started to threatening me saying that iam going to village once iam back iam going to see you.no news still now!
Tell what to do in such situation when a customer suffer like this.who ill help me in this regard when these kind of cheep cheating agents are operating only for money? Mr Narayan K Gowda [protected]

Times Of India — have been not receiving paper for last 3 months

Recently i have changed my address to RTC-x-ROAD(1-1-17/16b,C/O Rajamohan,Jawahar nagar) from onwards im not getting news paper and i have called many times to times of india help desk and i have provided my new address to them,but there is no luck ,very poor service . I have been facing this problem since 1st April 2012.

I am staying at Niampet villages and have taken 1 year suscription in august. I am not getting paper on weekends and festival times. no use to take the 1 year subscriptiondue to this.

I have subscribed The Times of India news paper 6 months package thrice.First time, got paper for around 4 months with lot of breaks.Second time they assured to give the paper daily and shown the offer this time it was 250, taken as cash.Never seen that person again.Third time after 3 mths or so came to the apartment again and got caught, this time assured and taken some balance amount framing some story.Not seen again.Found him in madhapur road on a fine day and this time, given his phone number, got news paper for 3 days.Thats it.Whenever called, wont pick up the call /disconnects as soon as hear my voice..Atleast pls let us know where to subcribe for newspaper?Amount Paid to Rajedra Goud and he told the service or paper delivery contact person's name is satish.Its not only one case, whole apartment has these kind of stories.If you have some complaint we give it on Newspaper, when newspaper itself cant maintain their office, whom to complain?[protected]@gmail, com

I am subscriber of 1 year subscription of Times Of India in Kondapur, Hyderabad. i supposed receive the paper from 16th July 2013. So far nothing was happened. i have made a call everyday to the respective area agents and in response to that agents approached me and assured to supply paper next day-next day. but so far i did not get any result. this is a very high handed behavior from the management.
I request please take a strong action regarding this.

The paper supposed to be delivered starting from -Sep-2013.

I am not receiving Paper for the past 15 days. I complained it to TOI customer Care and I also informed local paper agent but no response till date. Its been more than two weeks. I think TOI won`t take care of long term subscribers it seems. Because this is not the first time that I am facing this problem. I subscribed for Annual paper scheme and within 6+ months they skipped 35 days. I am not sure what the management is doing on it. I would request concern authorities to take such kind of issues very serious and try to resolve ASAP otherwise it would creat more issues.

We live in Sunciy Appartments in Bangalore at Sarjapur Outer ring road. We have been out for 10 days our newspaper vendor from Times of India is saying we have to pay for full month instead of jus 20 ds inspit of the fact that we have informed him before going that we will be out for these 10 days.

His plea is that since you have taken combo offer of Economic Times and Times of India so it is for complete one month when we talked to Times of India office they say it is totaaly wrong offer is valid even for a day he cannot force customer to give ful month payment.

They also assured us that paper will be start coming from other vendor to us in 2- 3 days then ater 3 days they told us same vendor will deliver you from tommorow but even after 10 days it is not coming inspite of the fact that we have been talking to TOI office every day and every day they assure it will come from tommorow.

Seems TOI has created monopoly of vendors in particula area instead of company controlling the vendors they are controlling the company and not even litsening to them which is creating problem for the cutomers. It was assured to us by Samita Kulkarni, Amar and Asik from TOI Subscription Office Bangalore

This should be taken seriously by the company else these vendors are almost hacking the company with their power.

Times of india news paper is not received by me, the agent said already to me from 16.1.2010 i wont get my paper , although i paid full upto arpril '2010 .
why , he said the coupan has been taken by the boy of the previous agent, he said i have got your coupan so i will not deliver and i willl encash the paper upto april and take the 300/- which you already paid. due to decency i delivered upto now from april09' jan'10 without getting the coupan , now no more waiting for the coupan and i will take the money in my own way. times of india is keeping quiet, i belived times and i bought, and they said particular agent willl deliver, he delivered it for ten days and taken the coupan , now by begging other agent supplied me after a log of negotiation, but still thefirst man who taken the token encashed, now the second man said i will get by supplying the paper of yours to others for 3 months,
times of india is the most crooked organisation, i request all customers not to buy times, a new slogan those who read Hindu in chennai - their son or daughter will pass IAS easily, those who Buy times their son or daughter will know through the times, how many restrarents and eateries, and outlets, who is the new cinema girl, what kind of night clubs are avilable all these things only they will know and it will easily go to their mind, and you will get a rottan son or a daughter

I have subscribed Times of india newpaper vide consent no. 2288289 on 09/09/2008. Accordingly, I have paid Rs. 199/- vide cheque and same was debited from account. I have told that the paper will be delivered from 18/09/2008. But I am not getting the same.I have started getting the newspaper from 01112008. I doubt it is my vendors fault also along with you people.So I would like to change my vandor. Pls let me know what is the procedure asap I have tried several time to their helpline no.[protected]/22137085/86, but no body even think of picking the phone.

Building on mutual understanding with the result other vendor cannot put paper in that building. This also results in readers finding it difficult to change a vendor on irregularities commited by him as other vendors are not ready to supply paper. With the result I am finding it difficult to get a good vendor fot me to get Times of India paper at my doorstep.

I too subscribed for Times of India newspaper in February 2009. i received the copy for two months regularly but now the local paper agency (Royal paper Agency Kharghar Jalwayu Navi Mumbai)has stopped droping the newspaper at my door step.

I have gone for full year subscription with TIMES and ECO for 850/- p.a. And I have not received ECO for almost Three months they took payment in advance and no one gave any kind responsibility. Paper delivery also changes on almost quarterly. I have faced lots of problem in Yearly subscription.
