[Resolved] Timtara.com — Product Cancelled Still no Refund

I had placed an Order for Mobile Phone amounting to Rs 17933 on 16th January. I got an order confirmation mail that it will be delivered in 6-8 days.

Even after 7 days they had not shipped the product. So I got suspicious and searched the internet about timtara.com and found many incidents of non delivery of product.
Since the product was not shipped I decided to cancel the product on 22nd Jan. I sent a cancellation email and even called their call center to confirm the same which I could reach only after 50 tries.

However till now I have not received any acknowledgement of the cancellation of the order, neither has there any communication about this. I am following up daily and escalated this matter to their internal Chief Customer Officer [protected]@timtara.com . Everything is falling on deaf ears and nobody is responding to me. Timtara.com. is a fraud company and needs to be out of this business.

I want my order cancelled and my money refunded back to me.

In the ecommerce sites its very difficult to cancel once u have placed the order. Only i[censored] dnt receive the order then u can raise this issue. And before placing orders u shud enquire about the site rather than doing later.
Try going to their office if they have one and ask there.

Before placing the order I did do some basic research.

1) Like checking their credibility by looking for any endorsements from third party. In this case DataQuest and SapientNitro
2) Do they have a customer care number and email id to be reached at incase of issues
4) Do they have an Office address
4) What are their replacement and cancellation policies
5) How much public visibility they have e.g. advertisements

What I did not do was that I did not check the internet for complaints, which I agree was my mistake.
But then I had no idea that after meeting above criteria, a website could still manage to deceive people.

Also, timtara.com.is publicly announcing that it will fully refund the money if order is cancelled, then why should it not honour it.

I have cancelled my order as per their policy and I am eligible for a full refund.
