[Resolved]  Torrent Power Ltd. — Running of meter very fast and against the prescribed norms.

Dear Sir,

I am a domestic consumer of Torrent power Lts at 35,K.K.Nagar.Sikandra,Agra having Service Connection No.178819 of 5 Kw.
On[protected] this company has installed a unchecked meter which is runninmg very fast and against the normal parameters.from[protected].00 Pm to[protected] 11..am. This meter is giving 7313 units and the maximum demand is coming 43.24 Kwh against 5 Kw.I have made the complaint to the torrent power and paid the prescribed Fee of Rs.50.They checked the meter and without nanlysing the report given by their staff they send a mail mentioning that the meter is working as per the norms.

Dear Sir,
Your meter testing team has tested the meter and given the report for that moment only when they checked the meter.How it is possible

That meter give the cumulative MD kw,Current month MD kw,as 43.24 and Cumulative MD Kva and current Month MD Kva as 43.28.

Please note that this is the domestic connection of 5 Kw. And your checking team has checked and verified the total connected load as 3760 total wattage they have mentioned in the meter testing report.

In any case this is not possible to consume 7313 units only in 10 days in a domestic connection of 5 KW.

From your side you have mentioned that no actions is required.this is wrong and illegal that your are not resolving the genuine problem of your regular and honest consumer.



Any ways if you do not help me in resolving my problem I will protest my case in the Electricity Consumer Tribunal. And before that I will send the letters and information's to the concerned authorities.



I once again request you to resolve this problem so that I can make payment as per my earlier usages.
